Quick rant

Okay, so what just happened to me in a normal draft game.

I was first pick, and banned everything regular. I like playing Elise as of recently, so I first-picked her.

I get counter-picked with a Teemo, and they end up going double top for some reason.

They sent a Ryze up with Teemo.

So there was a Zed who "called" mid, which means he automatically gets the position, right?

The second pick was an Anivia, who wanted mid, so he locked in.

The Zed then was stubborn, and as the game started, proceeded to DUO MID for 10 minutes while I was telling him how much of a stupid idea it was.

I told him that I'm going afk, and he finally goes top. I told him it was too late, they were already at the inner tower.

I check back in 1 minute later, only to see he says in /all "Report elise for being a idiot"

I then went on a rant in all, telling him how much of a stubborn, immature asshole he was and told him that I wouldn't be surprised if he was still in 2nd grade.

Afterwards, I'm sitting here alt-tabbed out wanting my team to lose because this bastard deserves every loss that he gets.

tl;dr stubborn zed who went duo mid because he 'called' the lane, so afked and said to report me.

Thoughts?

Please don't say it's immature of me to afk, because although I do admit it's somewhat immature, it's pretty stupid the way people are in this game.

 

I usually don't say anything even when they call me names. Let them play as they want, it was just a normal game after all.

Edit: It doesn't say anywhere that there can't be duo mid. After you get to level 30 you'll get regular games, 2 bot 1 mid 1 top and a jungler.

 

We would've had a chance to win if he would've just simply came top.

I guess AFKing was over-reacting, but they were at the inner turret around ~8minutes.

 

It was indeed and that's just asking to get banned. Forget about the game and move on.

 

Yep. Also, before that, I had a few bad games with the same type of people. I'm going to take a break for the rest of today :laugh:

 

Today I went twice on best of 5 on ranked and didn't make it to gold. I was furious because I couldn't get there with all the trolls around, yet I didn't say anything bad to them. Gradually they would stop trolling but that was too late to turn the game around. What I'm trying to say is if you are nice to others they will be nice too, even the people that complain from the start. AFKing, complaining and all that stuff is all useless and pretty much asking for a ban. After the game you will probably never see the guy again, so chill during the game and do your best.

 

The funny part is for the first 7-8 minutes I politely asked him to come top, and he consistently called me a retard, stupid, etc. Just all of those games with these types of people, the rage builds up ._.

 

If he didn't come top from the very beginning it's pointless to come later as you get stuck behind in levels. So, if he didn't come top right away you shouldn't have asked him to go top as they could push mid like the enemy pushed top so it would be a fair trade.

 

Damn Panda, I feel your pain. I hate normal draft pick as its usually full of trolls. My suggestion to you would just be to stick with normal blind pick until you feel ready to duo ranked... just avoid draft pick altogether imo. Sorry to hear about your experience with that zed =/

 

Stopped. Fucks me off when people decide to do that or even threaten it, it just hurts your own team as a whole and makes the game shitty for the other 9 people in general. Go switch lane, even if it's unviable and just forget it, going off on a tangent ranting about something which will never ever be fixed in the LoL community is just going to wind you up even more when the tribunal slams a ban down on you.

If you had time to talk you must not have been paying attention and not tower hugged. If you did they wouldve died as they are squishy.
