asking a girl to prom

Ok so like the title says I'm going to ask my best friend(girl) to prom. I'm thinking of doing it a couple ways:
What I'm going to do is make the word prom out of chocolate, candy, flowers, and paper. I'm going to give one the p,r,o,and m to their first second third and fourth hour teachers to give to her. Each letter also contains a clue that doesn't make sense until you have all four letters. Such as trace the P, break off the bottom of the p and eat it leaving just the lope. then the final clue will say to trace the loop onto the p so it looks like a B, stuff like that.

or the second way:
I get a small rock and paint the word yes on it. Then I get a huge boulder and write no. I leave both rocks by her doorstep along with a note asking her to prom and telling her to bring the rock with her answer to school the next day.

Third way(not really too serious about this way):
So you know how people write shirts that have a bunch of names or characteristics of the person and they have to wash it to find out who it is and what ever. So I'm thinking of getting a pair of underwear. I will write my name in permanent marker inside the underwear and then color over it with brown washable marker. I'll attach a note saying "I'd mess my pants to go to prom with you."

What do you guys think, and are there any other ideas that you'd suggest?

 

Dude, you just go by her and say "Would you like to go to the prom with me?" and done!

Yes very special, but not that special where you go and get like santa clause and get him to go to her house and say "Would you go to the prom with me?" By etc. [That would be awsome tho ]

Yea I'm definitely favoring that way, I live in an inner city of minnesota though so we still have a lot of snow, so finding the right kind of boulder is actually harder than it would seem to most people.

As for my opinion, I like the rock one as it's more original. Lots of people do similar things to your #1 and your #3 is too much of a joke for prom. POSSIBLY homecoming, and definitely not prom.

Personally, asking someone to a Prom shouldn't require you to do that much.

A simple, "Would you like to go to the prom with me?" Would suffice.
Or, "Who are you going to the prom with?"
"I'm not sure," Then you respond, "How about me?"
If she says I'm going with x then no loss for you.

 

My friends taking a girl out to eat and having the chef write 'Prom' with her order, she gets the same thing 95% of the time so hopefully it will work for him..otherwise, they'll have an order of food that spells prom while she eats something completely different and I'll laugh my ass off at him .

But yeah, I'd assume women love being flattered, asked to prom in fancy ways, etc. It makes them feel truly special, which is a great feeling.

 

Personally, i'de just go with walking right up to her and asking her to the prom, but if you really want to do one of your ideas, definitely do the second one. That's a great idea haha.

 

Lol... When i asked LOL i went for a different approach... i was like "so you know proms coming right" she was like "Sure..." "I'm like well im going and your going" She's like "get on with it..." and i said "Well i guess i'll see you there" and then i left LOL my buddy fimled her expression it was priceless LOL but like a min later i came back and asked her and she said yes LOL and called me a dick

 

Dude the second idea is hella crafty, i like it.

 

do the first one if you want to make it really cute.
second if you want to make it look funny at the same time
didnt quite understand the third but i suppose if i was a girl id prefer the first.
