A lot of info is available in the general chat of the discord, however here is a nice description of our intent:

Build a solid ecosystem for RuneScape fans, provide a complete gaming experience.

The platform will consist of clear components:

    1. RSPS client and server logic (Java)
    2. Back-End for simulations (C)
    3. Front-End for UX (Webstack)
    4. Decentralized networking logic
    5. Blockchain Core (NodeJS)

Every unit requires extensive feature development and linking, here is a use-case:

A tournament is to be hosted, participating teams register via a smart contract on a dedicated Blockchain which was instantiated following a crowdfunding event.

The initial investors contribute in BTC, ETH, LTC, DGB, ARK and whatever we can fit into the codebase.

A community account gets a percentage of the generated tokens (gp) - decided by the initial contributors and averaged out - and is controlled through proposals and voted on with gp.

The community account holds all the cryprocurrencies and gp-tokens can be exchanged for a proportional amount of the chosen currency directly with the community wallet, by anyone.

A proposal is issued for the tournament, which is a smart contract written and signed by a user of the network.
    - Number of teams (def 16)
Discrete value, no options, rounded, min, max
    - Number of players per team (def 5)
    Discrete value, no options, rounded,
    min, max
    - Rewards curve
Continuous value, algebraic function, vote on constants
    - Version to use (def RSPS rolling)
    Discrete value, with options
    - Win condition (def 1 player maxed)
    - Tournament format (def 1 round)
    - Sleep setting (def 0/24)
    - Schedule (def Jan 1 2019 0:00 GMT)

Now, gp-holders can vote whether or not community funds should be allocated to the tournament reward pool.

Ex: I have 10% of the total gp, I cast vote to allocate 0.5% community gp to the tournament. Another user casts that 0% should be allocated (don't reward the tournament as the community, let it be privately funded) with his 40% of the total gp, so the total allocation is currently 0.1% community fund for the tournament.

Also, teams get to register their interest in participating and the gp-holders decide "democratically" (eventually move to a Proof of Consciousness/Interest model, as the Proof of Stake) on who they'd want to participate.

    Now, the interesting part.

Teams should have access to appropriate software to help them during the run. They might have developers on their side who have run their own simulations and were able to feed the players a curriculum of tasks to increase their chance of winning. However, it should be possible to "license" the algorithms to the team and to disqualify a team using the software for that run if they haven't the required license.

This is why we need a solid RSPS client, with interfaces for implementing various graphical overlays, logging user input, tracking other players, etc.

    * We will provide a Back-End service written in C to run simulations and have the possibility to replay what they would look like in the native RSPS client at normal speed.

Once the timeframe for deciding which tools will be licensed has elapsed, the clients that the players should use must be compiled and cannot change until the end of the tournament.

The Back-End algorithms (tools) active for the tournament should be ran on a dedicated server provided by a chosen provider of hardware and must have a connection to the tournament server(s).

This means that "verifiers" will be able to randomly query a list of processes on the dedicated servers and hash the files of it's stateful memory to ensure they match the compiled targets.

Since it might be too much to ask for everyone to stream a 1080p + 60fps formatted video, we can easily pass around the user input either through a peer-to-peer stream socket mesh or actually record everything on the Blockchain (very expensive, but scalable through peer-to-peer) and reconstruct the player view/world view so the viewer can watch multiple teams Duke it out in a private room, with their friends, voice chat and a connection to "Twitch chat". Viewers may also freely change quality, enable/disable player webcams or voice, and view actual perspective of the player with matched camera placement.

This brings us to the service/value situation. It would be nice to be able to have not only cryprocurrencies held by the community, but also things like webcams, AWS instances to share, mics, mice and software available for lease from contestants (say escrow some gp and build trust).

    https://discord.gg/Y82Z6n2

Very niche things can occur, like hosting a Node in the network where tournament info from the contestants is sent, then transcoding player point of view and selling them in exchange for gp to people who can then share it with their friends for free or split the bill. Say I want to watch Boaty and Autumn Elegy POV for 1h if(both.are2ticking), the Node will be able to generate an invoice which I can agree to pay and from that point I can re-sell, re-package or share the data.

    The economy is really interesting.

All that said, there's already a very prominent OSRS community for services like forums, developing tools, writing scripts, porting game logic, and a huge market for content of all types.

This is why we need some Webstack for easy advertisement and integration in existing communities through websites.

This platform will be used for things like pking tournaments also, where there would be a standalone version that doesn't look like the normal OSRS but basically just another version that we can develop in parallel.

The Blockchain Core and networking concepts should be very innovative and able to be reused for later projects.

This includes cryptography, networking, parallel computing, machine learning and potentially artificial intelligence, economics, IoT, etc.

Sidenote: we should write a pseudo-programming language for people who have extensive OSRS knowledge to feed into the Back-End engine.

That way, someone can establish truths as a base for running simulations:

    Skill.mining.lvl.99.reached is quicker with Gear.prospector.full

And then let the machine learning unfold.

    I'm named Jay btw.

Wow. This looked like you put a lot of effort in. I'll see to myself as a investor.
