Weather - Another poem I wrote for Dustin

This morning the deafening sound of thunder awoke me,
I prayed for just ten minutes to leave me be.
Rain patters on my roof as it soothes me to sleep,
Thunder trying to deprive me, Rain wishes me to keep.

Spring rolls around the flowers start blooming,
As I stare at the sky, the clouds are zooming.
Time to wear some shorts, glad for no more coats,
Found a good spot where I can sail my boat.

Summer is finally here, no more school,
Perfect season to test out my pool.
Sun beaming down, perfect for getting tan,
three months later I come back a new man.
