Project Genesis: A Glimpse Into the Future of Botting

Lol what? I have never heard anything about building your own bot. I'll look in to it, but you should seriously advertise more if what you say is true. Anyways a major difference is the fact that OSBot uses a client while Rid does not.

 

I'm aware of SuperScript Factory, and I can assure you Genesis is quite different. The only place where they share similarities is the general idea of making/tweaking your own bot without needing to know any programming languages.

Some, but not all, differences include:

• The mouse movements, styles, and behaviors will perfectly match that of the owner of the account, meaning under manual or automated investigation, Genesis will show up exactly the same as the owner would if they were playing legitimately.
• Genesis will work for EVERY version of RS, as well as many other computer games that possess relatively repetitive gameplay.
• Genesis will have above a 99% up-time; any updates to RS or any game Genesis is being used on can immediately be fixed by the user. No need to worry about Genesis or the client being updated.
• Even if you share your method with another person, they simply need to complete a calibration session to make the method adhere that other person's playing style/movements/behavior/etc.
• The Chat Center on RiD's website will allow you to keep track of any chat that occurs near your bot, so you can monitor and control the conversation no matter where you are, as long as you have access to a smartphone or computer with an internet connection.
• Text or Email notifications can be sent out for things such as random events, chat alerts, bot termination, etc.

There are other differences, but these are just a few.

So what is exactly unique about this?

From what I have read you record yourself playing and then let it go. It will recognize how you played and copy your actions, or are you saying that it will use your actions to produce more human like actions? Are you going to have to record yourself playing through every possible scenario or will it recognize basic scenarios and figure out what it needs to do? I am curious.

 

Why don't you actually read what it is supposed to do in its entirety? It is very clear on what it is supposed to do.

We are still only on an estimated timeframe. However, he is on one of the last stages of coding, so I'd say the ETAs he's given now are more accurate.

RID's made one post every month saying "4-8 weeks", the same time frame he has given since Sept. He hasn't even started working on the bot. His latest post is saying he is almost finished working on the GUI and visual interpretation and how he hasn't even started the bot.


Quit hyping up something that's either never going to deliver or is going to do 1/10th of what was ever promised.

 

Genesis is not a bot, it is a botting platform. Any bots are made by the user, not RiD. The current state of coding is what ALLOWS the users to conduct calibration sessions and bot generation. After this is completed testing will be done and beta may be released. You clearly haven't even read through half of the information that's been given on the project. You can believe whatever you want, but I can't wait to see your face when you're proven wrong upon release.

Honestly, I'm just not going to expect this now until like June or July. This is a huge project and it's seeming like it will take several more months.

At the moment, we're not sure. But after RiD completes the GUI he's currently working on he will give us another, more accurate ETA.

I'm on board, RID is a clever person, and always has been. This platform shall be versatile, obviously it shall be a major contribution to botting as well. But I for one would like to experiment with it in other sorts of ways. Either or, this is the largest drought in botting.
