Programs for a mac?

I'm learning java and in the long run I hope to make my own bots. Can someone give me a list of programs that I would need to learn java/make bots? They must be mac compatible btw.

 

Any text editor will work. All that matters is that you have the right compiler for your operating system.

Anyhow OP is asking for programs to help learn java and make bots.

Therefore, he wants, aside form Eclipse, a program that helps him learn java. There aren't any good ones. So use google read books.
Thread is over. Not that it matters, OP will give up after 3 minutes of googling about why javaw is not a recognized command.

 

What exactly is IDE? And yes Eclipse is a program i'm looking for thanks; i'm watching lectures and it seems to be the used program.

Other than Eclipse are there any other programs I should have?
