    Programming Question

    Hi,
I'm just hoping to find an answer to my question, hopefully someone can help!

I was curious, Is it possible/feasible to create a programme which you could input sounds i.e drums, keyboard patches, vocals etc... and it would put a song together for you, using these sounds? By put together i mean, generate notes and put the different patterns together to form an actual song.
I ask this because i need to make my own tracks for youtube videos and other things to avoid copyright issues. I have worked in fl studio and Ableton, and whilst I enjoy this and will carry on using them, I want to know if this is another possible solution. Thanks

    Programming Question

It can be done to the point of putting the audio together randomly.

As for making the Music have a Rythem etc it would take alot more effort then what you'd get out of it.

If you're looking for copy right free Music to use in your Videos I suggest looking up 'ByByCopyRight' on YouTube; all the music on there channel is free to use as long as you include the song & artiest in your video description.

    Programming Question

Thans for the tips, i'll take a look at their channel now!
Also, Is there any known programme that could already perform the action of putting sounds together? Also is there no way you could programme presets for the song layout? So you put in the sounds and the programme puts them together in a pre-set way?

    You could do it pre-set.

But it wouldn't be worth it as it would be more effort then just putting the songs together manually.
