Programmer practice - give me some advices

    Okay...

The reason why I write this is because I want to hear someone else opinion who I don't know personally. My friends gave me a lot of advices, but I'm still lost and I don't know what should I do.

First, I would like to say sorry for my bad English, but I hope you will understand me.

Okay, so let's begin. I'm currently studying as a software engineer. Actually I will graduate this year. And yeah I will obtain a Bachelor's degree. So at the moment I have to find(ant I did) practice as a programmer. So I found practice in a small company who works with online shops. How a job interview did go? Well I would say pretty good. Company manager asked me a lot of questions related to programming. After the job interview he asked me to send my grades. I'm not sure how to explain it, but in the university we get grades for certain jobs like tests, exams etc. So I sent him my grades and he answered me something like 'you are very lazy, stupid etc'. He didn't said that directly, but it was possible to understand it from the message he sent. Before that message I was happy. I though 'my life is going to change, I'm going to work as a programmer for the first time in a company'... And yeah, I was happy.
So he kept asking a lot of questions about my grades and so on.. I was like 'OK, I'm done with this guy, I'll find practice somewhere else'. Even a lot of friend said me not to go there. But.. oh well I went to practice in that company to prove, that I'm not stupid, lazy and so on.
So okay. Currently I've been there 5 days(monday-friday) for 8 hours a day. For the first three days I read a lot of theoretical material about what that company do, about programming and so on. Third day I was SO SO tired. I felt like a vegetable. Theoretical material 8 hours a day. Ok, I'll agree that it's probably okay to learn some theories. 4th day was a little bit easier - less reading. 5th day I was already working with a customers. I had a task to install theme to shop and do some more stuff. But I failed. I couldn't complete this easy task. Why? I couldn't fix some kind of error(google did not help). So I asked for a help, few guys tried to help me fix the problem, but they also couldn't help, because they faced that error for the first time and they had other things to do. So I also asked company manager to help me, but he also couldn't help me. He was like 'well you have to fix it somehow'. Later on he tried to help me a little bit, but unfortunately.. did not helped me to fix an error. I googled probably everything. I tried everything. And in the end of the day company owner was like 'why your task is still not done? Why you are not asking for help?'. Like WTF. I asked for help. I tried my best to do that task.
But yeah.. It's not about my work. First thing, I'm a practicant(I hope it's the right word). I came to that company to practice. In my practice contract is said that I can't do any kind of jobs related to company's activities. Only if they will give me a short-term employment contract I can work there and do tasks they assign to me(like on Friday). But they didn't gave me any kind of contracts. By the way, practice is not paid. So I work there for free.
So okay. You may ask 'So what are your responsibilities in that company? What do you have to do there then?'. Answer: I have a practice plan and I have to do only those things who is written in this practice plan. So what's in my practice plan? - I have to create a website something like Best Social Media Management Tool - eClincher (Im not advertising, this is just an example). So yeah this is my practice task, assignment, work or whatever you want to call it. And the company must help me to accomplish this task.
So yeah, it's not all about what I do there.
Lets go back a little bit. Company's manager or owner makes jokes about me. He thinks that I'm stupid and I'm not going to complete my practice plan task and so on... Okay.. I laugh of his jokes about me. Shouldn't I? Because I think that maybe he is joking about me and he's not saying it seriously.. but sometimes it hurts.. I feel not appreciated. I don't have experience as a programmer. It's my first job(actually practice) as a programmer. I really don't want to go there anymore. Every day is stressful. When I come back home from job I usually don't talk to anyone, because I feel angry maybe depressed. I don't even know what I feel. I though it will be fun to work as a programmer, but it's not. My first experience says that it's not. Maybe I take it too seriously? But I asked my friends(also programmers) who already work in other companies and they feel great there and they like their job.
So.. yeah. Here is my story. Probably this is my first time when I write so much in English. If you don't understand something just leave a comment and I'll try to explain. I tried to explain everything as best as possible.

So what was your first job experience?
And what do you think about my situation? What would you do? Because right now I feel like I don't want to be a programmer and I'm not going to be one.

Thank you for reading this story,
    D

Based on your story, Bottom line is his definitely not a good manager, a good manager work with you in order for you to improve. you have one of the worst managers in ur hands. I would clean my hands from him find practise elsewhere.
