    Problems on Mac

Just wondering if there are any mac users out here that play 07, because I have the hardest time. For one I can't find a fix for the directional keys not working properly, and the only auto typer I can find is the script on applescript editor which typo's way too much in game.

Any mac users have any advice?

    Problems on Mac

    1) Use Safari, not Firefox.

    2) D/l "iTypeBot" from the app store; it's free.

I'll try that app, and I am using safari :/ the directional key pads get locked which causes the screen to keep spinning.

That shouldn't be happening. Maybe your Safari is outdated?

checked, safari is up to date.
and that auto typer you recommended is doing the same thing.
    Any other suggestions?

Can't find the link at the moment, but I switched to client for 07 because of the same problem. Fixes everything, only annoying thing is there is no link to the world map :(

    Problems on Mac

    Im a mac user,

to solve the spinning issue, use the downloadable rs client on their official website, and then you simply edit one line of code to make it load up the oldschool runescape not the new one, a guide to do so can also be found on runescape.com, or google it.

as for a auto-talker, i just use applescript with the following script:

    tell application "System Events"
set texttosay to "white: buying lobsters 200 each - <insert username>"
    repeat
    delay 2
    keystroke texttosay
    delay 3
    keystroke return
    keystroke texttosay
    delay 3
    keystroke return
    keystroke texttosay
    delay 3
    keystroke return
    keystroke texttosay
    delay 3
    keystroke return
    keystroke texttosay
    delay 3
    keystroke return
    keystroke texttosay
    delay 3
    keystroke return

display dialog the "Do you want to quit?" buttons {"Continue", "Quit"} default button 1
if the button returned of the result is "Quit" then
    exit repeat
    end if
    end repeat
    end tell

i shortened the script for the sake of this comment not being huge, so copy and paste the body of the script numerous times to make it run for minutes before prompting you to continue or not, the above example would only say it 6 times before stopping.

    top tip:

just download the world map from the download section of the runescape website or just google it and download it from the images page.

Wow that's a great idea to use automator as an autotyper. There is no autotyper for mac, correct?
