In Need of a Mentor- Goldfarming

A partner and I are seeking a mentor to help us set up a modest goldfarm. We are serious and have purchased a VPS, proxy service and tribot so far. We are doing our research, but having someone to offer their experience would be very valuable and much appreciated.

The main reason is that we want to have enough gold to enjoy the game however we please. We aren't able to pay the premium prices for gold or invest our time into manually farming. We are interested in selling rsgp. However, we will consider expanding once we have an idea of what we're doing.

We offer enthusiasm and open minds. But are interested in partnerships and returning favors where possible. Perhaps we'll sell or gift gold to you, or provide other services.

We're looking for someone who knows the ins and outs of gold farming, is active and easily contactable. Contact me on here if you'd like a protege or two. We won't accept any foolery.

You're essentially asking for a consultant. Unless you're willing to pay good money for good advice I doubt you will find much aside from the usual responses that you find on the forums already.

There is a methodical approach that goes in to botting that can hide you from the more common/lazy botters. There are guides you can buy in the guides section that can outline botting for you but it all comes down to execution. It's a cat and mouse game between you and JaGex.

 

The only problem I have with paying for advice or a consultant is that there is no standard for value for money. And there's plenty of frauds on here.

I'm quite patient and not greedy. I'm finding more long-term botting methods are more appealing. Although it seems a modest botting method earns less overall, they require less maintenance.

All that aside, the culture I'm finding in these forums is quite interesting.

 

Botting is tricky, as it may take shifting through several scripts before you find one that doesn't get your arse instabanned. Also, TriBot only got me banned, I feel it's highly detectable, and using ANY bot will get you banned, even AutoIT scripts that don't use reflection/coding.

Don't spent $50 on a script thinking its godly unstoppable either. The more expensive scripts I found gave me the same ban rates. Granted, I wasn't using a mirror mode or anything, so that may be a secret to success.

My advice would be high RoR skills that don't rely on taking a raw material but making a secondary or final product.

FYI I ran a crafting/enchanting bot and made 8-10m on 10 different accounts in one day, for 93m.

The trick is to stay ahead and perceive yourself to be only a single step ahead and at any moment you can fail. That way you will be most cautious.

And read Gman's post again - Script price and ban rate are some what mutually exclusive in this market .

A day. Can make 300mish a week as long as prices are steady. I have written a script I use for enchanting, rest I have bought off a friend.

 

damn nice is it fully automated or not yet?
