problem installing windows 7 on new pc

I went to install windows seven but it said i had no drivers, so i then rebooted with my asrock mobo disk in that has the drivers but it gives me the message "Do you want to generate Serial ATA driver diskette [YN]" i say yes and it says something about supported floppy or usb not found then says reboot.

i press a key then the process starts all over again. i tried going to the part in the windows setup where it ask you for drivers, and inserting the disk but then when i scan for drivers it gives me a huge list but when i check the box " hide drivers not compatible with my computer" it all goes away.

I had that motherboard in the past. Your description sounds weird though.. you're supposed to install the drivers from within Windows. Just boot up to Windows 7, stick the disc in, and follow the autorun instructions.

 

yeah i am dumb forgot to plug power cable into the psu.

There's nothing wrong with it, in fact I've had that exact mobo in the past. It's just not exactly what I'd consider gaming PC material lol.
