Notification when your message is quoted?

I think this would be a nice addition, you could have it like subscribing to a thread, you get an email notification or whatever saying "Your message has been quoted" and in your emails there is a link to the post that has quoted your previous post.

I've thought about this myself. I agree that this would be a very appropriate and useful addition to Sythe. I frequently have to go "thread hunting" just to see if someone has replied to an offer I've made, or look for an older thread I've made in a not-so-active category. Would definitely make the speed of conversation on threads faster in my opinion.

Edit: Would also be nice if this particular feature had options such as: Email + message, just a message, or none at all for people who don't want to clean out their mail more than they already have to.

 

it's easy enough to check yourself. This would take a lot of work to be implemented and would initiate a lot of PM spam.
