RWT Threat of Legal Action Emails From Jagex

This is the email I got:

I copied and pasted the URL (Because I am Not Retarded), and got this:

The email appeared to come from: [email protected]


BUT; the email came from: http://emkei.cz/

BEWARE, DO NOT ENTER YOUR PASSWORD UNLESS YOU MANUALLY NAVIGATE TO RUNESCAPE.COM

TOO MANY FUCKING SCAMMING BITCHES OUT THERE

 

Don't click on those.

They are phishing links...

 

i would never click stupid links use runescape website only for research guys if needed

 

Got the same email, knew it was fake when it say "Sincerely, Mod Mark"

 

Lol i get these emails every week... Sometimes i even get it on my hotmail account which i haven't used for anything except msn in almost 7 years

Go figure how they get our emails.. So weird, dont ever click them

 

It's just a Phising email.
99% of emails 'From Jagex' are just fake phising emails.
They link you to a fake Runescape website and steal your account.
Disregard them, mark them as spam.
Use Gmail

 

Gmail is normally pretty good at filtering out those messages, particularly if many people report it as a phishing email. Next to the time of the email, there is a little arrow, just click it and report it. If enough people report the message, then gmail just places it in the spam filter and a yellow bar popus up saying a lot of people have reported this email as a phishing email.

 

If you actually made a decent amount of money from rs your wouldn't post that on here.
