Expanding 143m bank

I'm looking to make some money before I quit so I can cash out at least $500 on the bare account + my RSGP. Any tips on a level 130+ with 85 slay making about 160m? I'd prefer something that doesn't involve too much attention, so something like SP mages would be acceptable, though I'd prefer a bit faster. Thanks for any advice you guys can give.

 

Don't hate because I don't know how fast they are - but maybe camp abbys?
Or you could try your luck at GWD, I hear it's pretty steady in output.

 

If you know what you're doing, you can solo arma or bandos and make a shitload of money. I've made in excess of 400m from Arma.

 

Camping abbys sounds like a good idea.

Hmm... To be honest, I haven't really given abbys a fair chance. I've heard they're decent money/hour, but it really depends on your luck.

Will I be good soloing Bandos with 99 att/str, 96 def, 85 summ, 75 pray, 85 herb? I've solo'd KQ a bit, haven't found a chain, but I can get 2 kills a trip so I figure at some point it must become profitable.

You should get 88 summoning if you could, KQ is shit luck.
after 88 summoning go solo/duo arma/bandos and use uni.. good amt of kills per trip.
I've never personally done armadyl.. but bandos is good.
Maybe 4 more herb lvls for easy ext's too?
Just suggestions on level ups.

 

The only thing is I don't want to spend money on herb/summ cause if I spend 30-40m and then not end up doing much Bandos, as that would lose me $60 probably.

 

Well if you do GWD and stick to it, you're bound to make ~100M+, as stated by Hammeroid.

In runescape, you have to stick to your goal in order to get what you want, because jumping from task to task will render your chance of profit down the drain.

 

Hmmm... I might do GWD, we'll see. Any tips on solo merching/flipping? I want to compliment whatever I do end up doing with some small merching just to add a slight profit.

I advise waiting until free trade comes out, therefore prices have a chance to stabilize. IMO though, with free trade you should flip(or merch idk the term for this kind) small items like gems or glories/ddses.

Then again, I don't know how the W2 community is going to be like post-free trade relevant to before the grand exchange was even introduced. That's what I did back in '05-'07.

 

Yeah, I was thinking about that, just buying for a bit under market and reselling for market or above. The only concern I have is people saying things like "I'm not selling it for 800gp, the market price right there says 1k..." Are there any other problems you could see with W2 economy?

 

Abby's are all luck. Sometimes I can get 3 whips in an hour while other times I get none..also are killed quickly so require a good amount of attention..

No I mean I used W6/W9 in Seers bank, and I bought Diamonds for 2kea and sold on the forums for 4kea.

The problem right now with W2 is that there's a set price for everything, that's why after free trade is re-announced, there's more movement in the economy because of no buyouts, and more people are going to have more of such items, with no ridiculous (but profitable) prices in W2.

Like remember people selling mass amounts of glories, dds'es, whips, verac brassys, etc?

Just camp abby's and hope to get some whip drops although they are dropping or go to GWD and try and get some lucky drops.

Monster hunting is your only way to make this and it should be easy at your level.

 

I have the same question, i have about 150m total worth. my stats are maxed melee, 95 prayer 99 mage 99 range 88 summoning. i have 284 ques points and i usually kill tds for money, but im not sure its the best boss. in my opinion it is definately better than bandos because its closer to a bank, much less competition, much higher drop rates, more killed per hour. The only thing is you cant let your guard down at all there or you WILL die. some people can tank bandos fine, but tds you just cannot.

I got a little off topic there lol! but yeah, my question is, should i sell all my gear and merchant? Im not sure if i should merchant while i work on 91 rc (76 atm) or should i monster kill (and what monster?).

I like camping abbys, and to answer someones question, i spend 40 hours there camping and i averaged 800k an hour with all of the drops divided by time spent there.

 

Pro gwd 4 man CS or solo.

 

Like people said before.. Camp slayer or GWD..

You can always skill but that's not gonna bring in that much money.

 

Have you considered botting? You get a good 10m a day if you bot Sorc Garden or Blues.
