Learning the inferno

I'm back on my RS grind, Currently I need to get Ely & T-bow, Once I have those two items, I'm tackling the inferno.
I'm curious, I'm not the BEST PVMer, how long, on average, do you believe it takes to get your first inferno cape, with NO prior inferno experience.
100 hours+? From start to finish?
Just curious about everyone's experience.

 

From the people I have talked to, it usually takes 2-3 weeks. With that said, I'm guessing a total would be around 20 attempts?

Yeah, I'd say the hardest part would probably be the triple jads when the healers come out. - Although I'm no professional , I know it is possible.

Also to note, everyone is different. You might be able to get it done in less than 40 hours. I would highly recommend watching a walk through video before attempting the caves.

Yeah man, shits scary. Sometimes I think it’d be better for me to have someone else do it. But I often feel like I would have no self pride in the account, and I’d probably end up selling it just for that reason.

 

Yessir. I have played the game for 12 years, got into acc buying / selling probs 4 years after, and never enjoyed the game until I started lvling my own stats again.
So I want to do inferno on my own.

 

I’ve attempted it 4 times so far and got to high low 55-60s in waves. Last attempt was with acb. Pretty easy to learn once you get the hang of the pillars and kill order.

 

I got myself an inferno 8 months ago and had barely any previous experience when it comes to PVM. Had basically only been doing Fight Caves twice.
From start to finish it took me between 15 and 20 attempts with the help of some guides I found.

Did you do ACB each time?
It’s A LOT to learn, i’ve watched a few guides, and they have helped me realize that I am a WEAK Runescaper LOL.

With re-gearing, that’s roughly 2-2 & 1/2 hours per attempt? So like 50 hours total?

Dang, you guy’s are giving me some confidence!

 

The first couple times I did it with a TBOW, definitely easier with it.

Or I didnt have ely tho, but tbow sure makes it alot easier

 

What shield were you using? Arcane?
