How hard is it to be a gold seller / open a gp shop?

Just a quick question guys, how hard is it to be a gold seller / open a gp shop on sythe?

Are there specific problems/issues you need to address prior to opening a shop? I'm thinking about opening a little one on sythe, and I know a lot of you are experienced gold sellers.

So, what tips could you guys give?

 

its not hard, it just takes patience. Being new means you will be a big target for scammers, you need to be safe and cautious. Make use of middlemen to protect yourself from people asking you to go first, be wary of PayPal since its the easiest payment method to chargeback. It may be slow at first to gain vouches and finding people to trust you, but you'll get there

 

Thanks Divica. I was thinking that I restrict my payment method to only money bookers to lessen the possibilities of chargebacks thanks for the advice though

It's actually quite hard, and not worth it at current with all the dominant market giants who've been established for years and years.

You also have to have a strong understanding of how a multitude of payment methods work, and what to do in occurrences such as payment chargebacks, fees etc.

The most important and primary factor is ones capital to start said business. You need to be prepared to suffer losses prior to seeing any sort of return.

 

All about patience honestly, the only thing that annoys me is skype being hacked / imposters .

 

Give it a shot.

It may be your cup of tea. Sure you may get scammed here and there (every big gold reseller experienced it), but take that as a lesson.
