Scammer: Drunken.

Hey guys, didn't think I'd be back from my SRB but shit happens. I'm aware this is lengthy, but please, take the time to read most of it. I've tried not to ramble & cut out as much unnecessary information as possible. Thanks in advance.

When he scammed me: About a week ago now (ish).

Drunken already posted a thread >here<, which is suspicious if you ask me, guilty conscious maybe.


So, what happened?

Several months ago, someone scammed my bank from me whilst doing a quest job. He admitted to gambling my money hoping to profit, and ended up cleaning me. He said he'd pay it back up but needed Sythe to make it back, so I didn't report him, but he was later permanently banned.

So, I needed to start fresh. The account I had at the time (My own account) wasn't any good for making money, so I decided I'd buy a close to maxed account. I came across Drunken's thread, and he seemed pretty trusted, legitimate and mature when I approached him. We agreed on a price of 200$.

Ok, so. I have the account in my posession at this point. I'm wary to put money on the account, understandable, right? But after a few months, I purchased another, level 3 account with the 27M odd RC exp as he also claims above, I deem him pretty trustworthy at this point.

So it's been a couple of months. I have 400M cash and some items including a rare which add up to around 150-200M, so let's say 550-600M approx. I level the account, getting 99 Prayer, another 80M and banking 99 Farming, 200M. So all in all, close to 1Bil RSGP. (This isn't really important, but I'm making this as detailed as possible).

So, I try logging in as normal one day and get this.


Okay, I could of faked that, I know, but as I said, detailed as possible.


So, thinking nothing of it, I try again - making sure to make no mistakes in spelling, as you do.
Now, I'm panicking. I'm also very angry about this - hense why it's taken me a while to make this thread. I didn't plan on lifting my SRB. Which, by the way, was placed on request through SuF, as I had an almost maxed account now and all the money I'd need to max it out and have some left to play with. I didn't want to waste anymore money on Runescape/Sythe so I asked for a SRB so I wasn't tempted to look around.


The next thing I worry about is the credit card information on the microtransactions and the recurring membership. So I head to billing support on the forums on the account I used before I bought the one from Drunken. Note the name of the account I got from Drunken is now Some Legend and this one is Other Legend. Has been for over a month:



Only screenshot I have of me on the account, shows similar stats to the purchase and the name Some Legend.

Similar names not really enough, I know, but it adds up.




So, I post this:



Then hop on to the E-mail address which Drunken and I sorted out upon purchase, I do not deny having the registered email address.



Note I say that the account log-in name is Herr Hakala - I'd have to tell the truth in order to get the billing information stopped. I couldn't have created a name log-in account unless it was over a year ago, which it wasn't.

The other account, which I also got from him has the log in name [email protected] . Which I can let a moderator log in to, to confirm.

Been recovered by the original owner. The only person who has enough information to do this is him, the original owner.
Regardless who has access to the registered email, if you have all the accounts information, you can change the email without verification.

I've been trusted on Sythe since I joined, donating and becoming a part of the community. I have only unbanned myself to do this report, and get him banned. Reason being, I don't want A) other people being scammed by him, B) Him continuing to use Sythe when he is dishonest. I have nothing against the guy, and there's nothing to prove we ever had a single dispute since I bought the account. The last thing I want to point out is that he made the thread he did out of panic, because my friend messaged him a few times saying I was unhappy, which I was - furious.

Have you tired to contact him about this? Do you have any conversation screenshots? I'm going to ban him for the time being.

 

Well, I didn't personally, my friend tried to approach him for me as I still had my SRB. The messages are on his thread here:
