posting pictures

hi sythe i need help i dont want to put links in for posting pics so i tryed "inserting image" and i dont know what it means by type in URL. HELP PLEASE.

 

first take a screen shot of hatever picture u waant, then save in ur pictures, then brownse and ull see them. thats how i do it

When uploading pictures, use http://tinypic.com. It's the easiest for basic computer users.

Once you've uploaded your image select the text from the "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" option.

Also, and address of an image is basically the URL of it, like http://sythe.org but for an image.
EX:
http://www.sythe.org/image.php?u=162204&dateline=1215147473
Is the URL of your current avatar.

If you want to take an image directly off google and place it in a thread, it's simple. You should just copy the link of the image and click the insert image button which is located 7 places down on the tool bar above (in quick reply), place the link in the box and hit ok and your image should be in your thread, that's how I do it.

 

The browser, which is "Internet explorer", or "FireFox" is a browser.
Now the URL is up top, the address to a website,
example "http://www.Sythe.org" is a URL.

Now replace sythe.org, with the actual page you will be useing.
Easy enough, right?
