Tri-screen gaming is awesome + it vastly increases your efficiency during work. If you've never experienced you probably don't notice the impact it would have on you. I know I never realized how much I switch back and forth between windows on one monitor before I tried out two... can't even imagine the awesomeness of three

 

+1 to what Ivy said. But driving games with 3x monitors is hard, plus only games that suite it tbh are racing, flight sims, couple of others. FPS's are bad.


When/if I get 3x monitors it'd probably be like Browser;Game;miscellaneous.

 

3x monitors just make it a lot easier to multi-task. You have a vastly increased viewing space to work with and it just makes it easier to manage everything.

 

What are the requirements for linking your computer to 3 screens? I kinda wanna do this:L

 

Either have an AMD video card that supports eyefinity, 2 nvidia video cards in SLi, or just have usb to dvi/vga/hdmi(this option I wouldn't really advise tbh.)

 

Is there anyway to have your laptop hook up onto a tv?

I'm thinking of buying a portable laptop. But they usually have smaller screens. Is there anyway I can hook up the laptop to a tv/larger monitor and work on the tv with a seperate keyboard/mouse.

 

Yeah, most modern laptops worth buying will have an HDMI port. Older ones usually have a VGA port to hook up to older projectors and whatnot as well, but I'd stay away from VGA monitors personally

As for the mouse/kb, that's as simple as finding a USB kb/mouse. I do it occasionally when I use my laptop because the tight spacing on the keys really annoys me after a while.

Hard drives are a 160gb ssd, 2 1TB WD Blacks, 1 2TB WD Black in an external bay.

 

Upgraded to 24GB of RAM..... (Yes, my wiring job sucks I know. Don't tell me something I'm already aware of.)

Do you even do anything that will take advantage of 24GB of RAM? Seems pointless to me... kinda like getting 200 FPS over 120 FPS. In fact it's probably limiting your OC capability tbh lol.

And yeah for real, 5 minute wire management job could yield better results than you currently have work on it man.

Any 1 thing? no. But I have a horrible habit of leaving firefox tabs open until I hit 200+ tabs. I run multiple WoW boxes simultaneously, as well as a bunch of random other bullshit.

Before I upgraded from 12GB, I frequently saw my RAM usage hitting 9-10+ range.
