I was quite surprised to see there wasn't already a topic about this. The biggest street riots since the 1979 revolution have been taking place for a few days. Iranians took to the streets after an obviously-rigged national vote, which, surprise, surprise, named Ahmadinejad the winner. It is also worth mentioning that Twitter has become the main way of news, due to Iran kicking foreign journalists out of the country. Anyone wanting to get real-time updates should search #iranelection on Twitter.

protesting is how a lot has got accomplished, americans in general are too lazy to protest and look at where it got them, the least government support in the western world.

Protesting in Iran will do absolutely nothing to revoke the president's reelection.
