Possible to get banned if...?

Is it possible for jagex to ban legit accounts on the same IP as botted accounts? Ie. i dont want to risk my main, EVER, but I want to bot other accounts. i know jagex still IP ban people from time to time and thats something I dont want to risk, so.. anyone have any guidelines on this?

 

They won't ban your account, but it'll most likely be flagged; meaning it'll be watched for suspicious activity.

1) it says it in the rules that you can lose all of your accs for an offence committed on one acc
2) some dude I knew got like 12 of his accs banned in one fail swoop, all for account hacking even though some of the accs were "innocent"

 

No and if they do use the "my brother was botting" excuse.

 

Yes they can, but they rarely do. Only in cases like huge RWT or account hacking (phishing/keylogging).

Then in your JAVA(Not browser) settings edit your proxy connection settings

Not that I'm aware of.

As Haha said, it'd be flagged and watched very carefully. Even a very small mistake and they'll give you a blackmark. I suggest using a proxy when you bot on other accounts. Then use your normal IP when you play on your main.

 

this comp is connected to net through a router, im not sure on router passwords and stuff so i cant get proxy to work. i think it should be alright, im not botting several accounts 24/7 now, only one.
