Banned from Rsbots.net

No this isnt another one of those "homg banned using rsbots.net rubbish" thread, im actually banned from there website/forum...
So you see i quit botting for around 5-6 months, and 3 days ago decided i wanted to come back to the world of botting. As an avid user of the Rsbots.net forum first thing i did was check up theyre site, i typed in Rsbots.net and then it went to google. I tried google searching it, nothing, came up with the following: "ERROR Not Found The requested URL /forums/index.php was not found on this server." Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Next thing i do is use a Proxy to get on and find i can get into the site but on the forums it says:
Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
advertising brute forcers
This ban is not set to expire
I dont even know what a Brute Forcer is! ive never advertised or anything on the site!

So i submitted a Helpdesk Ticket and havent got a reply in 2 days, which i guess isnt to long but when i found 3 out of 10 my auths was banned, i filed another ticket asking for the codes back, this ticket was replied to in the first 10-20 minutes. I have no idea whats up with the site/service but i find it very odd, especially considering i was a supporting member for 2 years running.

So i was really just wondering, has anyone else had something like this happen? and what is a brute forcer?

brute forcers are to do with hacking.

So they just happened to ban your IP for no reason then =p. Naise

 

Sometimes much like Sythe/Rsbot used to do their website goes down for a short period of time.

Also the reason it said on the proxy that you were banned is that someone before could have used that same proxy and tried "brute" force hacking rsbots.net website. Try using a different proxy and see what it says....

Omfg fucking noobs, proxy = everyone can use it. Then someone used it and posted a bruteforce and they banned that proxy IP you're not banned for bruteforcing the proxy is... /facepalm

 

Same thing happend to me but they are just ignoreing all my tickets i make now and wont reply back. The reason i was banned for was Virus. Which makes no fucking sense and this happend on the day of the big bot nuke.

 

If you were using a proxy someone else was most likely was on that proxy previously trying some no no stuff.

 

I think this is the most likely reason. Of course, I'd have phrased it a bit nicer.
