My 1000th post [Epic]

Alright sythe, it's my 1000th post, so it's gotta be epic right? I'm gonna be providing answers to just about every question that has ever been asked to me, so here goes:​

• Q. How old are you?

  [*]Q. How did you get your start on Sythe?
  [*]A. I joined late 2007 when I was looking for a pin. I got scammed a zammy platelegs and I didn't come back until December of 2009 while checking if mint cakes were worth any irl money. I was doing some merching in-game, buying mints 2m each, selling 3m each, and some duel arena staking, until I got about 80 mint cakes. I had no use for them and didn't even have enough gp for a partyhat so I came here. I saw prices around $1.50 each, so I figured I could get $1 each for sure. My initial goal was to sell all my mints for about $70 and be done, but then I discovered a great way to get more mints and thus more money

  [*]A. The first 80 or so came from merching. The rest came from buying rares like easter eggs, disks, and pumpkins, and selling them in-game for mints. I typically paid $1 for each mint I got, so 80% of what I paid came back to me as profit when I charged $1.80 for each mint. I never got a mint from playing the gnome game or from doing that one quest
  [*]Q. Dude, you got hacked?
  [*]A. Yeah, once. I'm not entirely sure how, but I believe it was from clicking on a link to a fake sythe website, where I put in my password and such. I got the sythe account temp-banned in 5 minutes (thanks badger!) but I shared the password with my msn, and there's no way I'm getting that back ([email protected]). No one got scammed thankfully, so I was able to come back with some help from Finn and without having to pay anyone anything

  [*]A. Back in the day I probably would have, but today I'm pretty much out of the market for rares and other things. I bought a few accounts on a whim, and I haven't used them for the most part-I'll be giving one out to the first few people who send me a pm on sythe that says "congrats on 999 posts"
  [*]Q. Got anything of value for sale?
  [*]A. Nope

  [*]A. As long as it does not involve account selling/buying-I learned my lesson from that
  [*]Q. How did you make 500m?
  [*]A. I started merching years before the trade limit was put into effect. After I amassed 20m or so I quit rs for about a year. I came back and discovered the g.e., which has been partially or fully responsible for about 99.9% of all mils I have made. I was an f2p player, and I discovered flip-merching. I would buy 4000 diamonds for mid, and resell for max. This went on for months until I became a member, at which point I discovered bolt enchanting and herb cleaning. This was long before the bolt enchanting bot had been created and I made upwards of 4m/hr making enchanted dragon bolts. Bolt enchanting also got me up to 91 magic-I high alched maybe 1k or 2k times ever. As for herb cleaning, that was another 1m/hr method that got me some killer herby exp. Buy grimies, clean them, resell for higher. I also learned that I could buy 3rd age gear for min in g.e. and resell for mid in trade, if I accepted some junk. I sold the junk for irl $ and I wound up paying maybe $.20-$.60 per mil, depending on it being a good day or not.

  [*]A. $2000 (-$100 for a donation)

  [*]Q. Have you ever scammed anyone?
  [*]A. Nope. I've had two reports posted against me though, and one semi-report that someone posted in his account-selling thread (impersonator scammed him $60)
  [*]Q. Why did you get banned?
  [*]A. Long story. I was mm'ing an account sale for paypal money. There had been some initial concern about the seller not providing full info, but the buyer said that was ok. The seller gave me his info and as luck would have it, the buyer changed his mind and backed out right then and there. Now I never left the convo or logged into the account, or changed the password, or any of the information, and the seller never gave me any indication that he was going to report me. I told him that I hadn't done anything to his account but he was angry that he had to find another buyer and repeat the process. He puts a report out against me the next morning, and despite a lack of any kind of evidence that I scammed (No, I never left the convo, he purposely hid the bottom of the window. No, I never gave the info to the buyer.) I was banned. Thankfully the issue got resolved, after four disputes and a final look in the upper lounge by all the mods, but if you can tell, I'm still bitter about the whole experience, and from now on, I will never mm another account trade.
  [*]Q. Why did you block me?
  [*]A. I try not to block people if I can avoid it, but it was either because you were rude to me, I felt you were a scammer, or you were banned on Sythe.
  [*]Q. Why does your UT say "mad ballin playa"?
  [*]A. Honestly, no one's ever asked me this but me being the attention ho that I am, I'll go ahead and answer it. I put the pronunciation of my name as "mad ball-in play-uh" in the "how do you pronounce your name?" thread and I got infracted for it. The infraction was later reversed and I'm still going to say that the way to correctly pronounce my name is "mad ball-in play-uh" or "mad ballin playa". If you think it's "vih-dee-oh", you're wrong, but I'm not going to correct you
  [*]Q. How do you avoid being scammed/being charged back?
  [*]A. It helps to be relatively old and just have more life experience in general. I know when someone's blatantly lying, or if someone's acting suspicious, and most scammers are too immature to do anything except those two things. Chargebackers are hard to spot, but if you're using paypal, ask for claim and cancel payment, and for the buyer to provide proof of bank-funded or balance payment after they pay you. In my entire time on Sythe, I have only ever been scammed out of a zammy platelegs (my first trade), one mint cake (another early trade), and a royal set (Fatih, I went first, he paid from hacked paypal). I would definitely say I have been quite lucky.

  [*]A. I try to follow all rules of grammar when I'm talking to a potential buyer or seller-I feel that it shows that I'm not just a twelve-year old going for a scam, but that I'm a mature person whom you can trust to buy from/sell to. If I know you, I generally talk less "formally" but sometimes I just find it easier to type "formally".
  [*]Q. Did you quit rs?
  [*]A. I had planned to, but I found selling my account to be a larger hassle than I had anticipated. I still play, but only to merch occasionally. I haven't earned a single exp in about a month.
  [*]Q. Will you buy my mint cakes? (I got asked this about two weeks ago, more than two months after mints got nerfed)
  [*]A. No, mints crashed more than two months ago, they have no value. (noob)
  [*]Q. How did you do RWT?
