Pretty simple addition imo.

So when a user gets banned, many people are very confused to why sometimes, I'm proposing that there is a spot on a banned user's profile page that links to the report that got that user banned.

 

Not sure this would exactly work like you would hope, considering a large number of people aren't even banned off of reports, and if this were to be implemented it would require more work than it would if someone were to ask why a user was banned and get a response from the "Where did ___ user go" thread.

 

Yea I mean I like that thread, I appreciate your input too, not all users are banned off reports, maybe a note from the banning staff member?

 

Have been suggested and denied before.

 

What sengira said, sometimes the ban reason is private or confidential.. and we'd have to redo a lot of bans. Denied.
