{POLL] Rules/Wrong section Suggestion[POLL}

I have been seeing more and more posts that are trying to be helpful but again arent. For example, Someone has a firecape thread in the accounts section and has no pictures, a person comes and sees this and says that its in the wrong section and you need a picture but i believe that unless it has links instead of just people saying wrong section and need a pic or things of the sort.

Basically in short im suggesting to count things as spam that dont include a link of the appropriate broken rules/wrong sectons.

Basically I was temporarily banned for this ages ago (can't remember who by). This falls under the backseat modding rule. I made a thread about it later on, and the moderators concluded it was not against the rules to do what I did yet nothing happened. Basically though, I believe that if ONE person has posted saying wrong section and provided the link to the right section then any other person that posts wrong section should be infracted for spam. Saying wrong section without a link or reference to where it should be moved to is also spam imo. Whoever does the backseat moderating should then proceed to report the OP's post with this button so the moderator can then move it to the correct section.

 

I support pathetic posts that just say "Wrong section." or "This is gonna be locked." being considered spam. Honestly the only sort of posts that should somewhat be considered are:

"Hey, unfortunately, this thread is supposed to be in [List section here.] I've already reported the post and asked a moderator to move it for you."

This way the user will be able to see that their thread is being moved or whatever, and the message has enough content to not be considered spam. It should probably be deleted when the moderator moves it anyway.

 

It really depends on how the user structures their post. If it's a "needs pictures" that would be spam, but if its a "you need pictures to avoid getting your thread lock" it isn't spam.
