RWT Buyer Minor Ban

I just got temp banned for the first time ever RWTing (have been doing it nearly 7 years on and off). I will admit I was stupid and traded a lvl 3 mule for 300m gp. My question is are my gp and items safe?

I heard that sometimes gp will be removed, which I'm ok with (only had a 30m cash stack). But what about items? I bought some items with the gp and also have a parsec infernal I got a year ago. I'm mainly concerned about that.

 

I got banned 2 days ago also, 350m bought Osrs. Didn’t realize I already had a warning from a purchase 3 months ago. I used the 350m to death match and won 1.6b I didn’t even have time to buy items and my account was 3 day banned the next day I had 650m in gp and 1b in tokens, jagex states that wealth has been removed. Are they going to wipe the 1.6b or just the initial 350m purchase? Find out tomorrow.

 

Let me know, I find out in 2 days. I heard they only wipe the cash stack though, whatever remains.

 

ya a lot of people saying they wipe the gp and leave items and some saying they didn’t take either, I’m assuming the 1.6b is gonna be gone had I known about putting it into items I would have lol(apparently items are safe)

 

Yeah only ever lost GP not items. Should hide your GP (coffers, tip jar, looting bag, etc) next time if your ever worried about it. Always had coin safe in those as well.

 

I don't think I'm going to RWT for a long time, this has me scared. I don't want to lose my main account or have anymore wealth wiped (if they even did). I guess it's time to buy bonds for 3x the price...

 

Use safer methods G. Do a little homework next time, look into ways to get the gold on your account without ever interacting with the seller. Dont bulk order, and dont DM it.

 

You're right but I've heard the only safe method is DMing but I've also heard buying items works too (which I have done in the past). What other methods could there be that are safe? Drop trades are apparently very easily traceable and so are normal trades.

 

Update ony my 3 day ban: They wiped the entire cash stack but left the items. Gf 60m but at least I kept my infernal cape and items I bought with the gp.
