Poll: How Did You Learn About Korea?

A long time ago, this korean kid came to our school and thats how i found out about korea.

 

I first learned about Korea in a geography lesson when I was about 6 years old. I only learned about the south though, not about the north. I only knew the north existed when I was 10.

My school had some Korean students visit a few years ago, and they talked about stuff like the political situation between the north and south and taekwondo.

 

I had a friend who was half Korean named Gihi. I was in Kindergarten I believe, so I first learned about Korea when I was..5?

I guess I learned of Korea from geography class? Maybe history if we studied the Korean war?

When I was a kid about 5 or so years old, I was traveling to Hong Kong, and had to get off at South Korea to transfer to another plane to get there since the plane wasn't heading straight to Hong Kong.

When I was a kid, I had this poster full of aircraft "tails'.
And Korean Airlines had the tail somewhat of a Pepsi logo.
I began to have a deeper understanding of the country after the disputes between both the Northern and Southern.

 

I was born in SK.

 

Um probably from T.V, I don't really pay attention to those kinds of things.

I learnt about it in grade 3 at school. We studied Korea (mostly South Korea) for H.S.I.E.

Haha no but really, I guess I knew about it from geography/TV like everyone else when I was little. I first only learnt more about Korea when I got into Starcraft.
