Heads, I'd argue with you but considering I disagree wholeheartedly with every word so far I'll spare you the time.

I'm probably "other" but I listed myself as a libertarian for the purposes of the poll. Call me insane but I believe in BOTH social and economic freedom, something which republicans and democrats don't seem to understand.

Also as far as this "If you need more than one shot you don't need a gun" argument goes, you're completely off track. (Whether or not you believe in peoples right to own guns aside)

I've been through formal firearms training and from what I understand it often takes two shots to STOP an attacker. Even a well placed 9mm round directly to the chest isn't always going to be enough to stop a 195 pound man running at you with a knife. This is what law enforcement is taught, so I'd argue that its applicable to self defense as well.

 

ofc you double-triple tap the person, especially if it's a bigger guy. But if you take my .40 and put a well placed shot center mass then the person will be deterred at minimum to continue forward.

hit democrat because in our voting system you're either one party or another and the others are just swallowed up. Not the biggest fan of the democratic party but republicans make me want to leave the country.
