[POLL] Ability to Self Lock Threads

Why not? This is a feature most forums offer their upgraded members/donors.

I propose the ability to self lock(NOT DELETE) threads for $200+ Donors that are created by them.

Can put it under the "thread tools" tab where u can select to lock/unlock a thread if ur a $200 donor.

Would also slightly reduce workload on staff.

Unless you consider "- Staff powers for non-staff members" to be it but I would imagine that is geared towards like normal users being able to ban and so on, this is just a nice little quality of life thing. We aren't giving users staff powers nor are we taking locking ability's away from staff in any form, just helping them and users out.

Reduces staff workload, donor perk, and is useful for every market and every section across the forum.

Nice little perk and I have no idea why it hasn't been added as its not on the list.

However I do find that all donor ranks should have it, no point in someone being somewhat forced to donate $200 just to lock their own threads.

 

This would mean people can lock their threads if one of their customers has a bad experience to avoid the negative post on their thread so I don't think it's a good idea.

 

It’s not going to happen. Too many risks and liabilities. We have plenty of active moderators who are willing to lock them for you.
