No, he's GMT -4, but not sure about the time it was taken.

 

It'd probably be reasonable to assume that he took them right before he posted them or else that would probably defeat the point that he is trying to make.

If that's the case, when I posted 4 minutes after him there were four staff members online. It'd be a little bit absurd to criticize the staff because no one happened to be online at a particular moment (if that's what he intended - it's a little hard to tell when his post doesn't actually contain any feedback, just a picture of the forum). There aren't long stretches of time without any staff on.

 

The only time I notice prolonged staff absences is around 4 and 5 am EST or -4 GMT I think.

 

The only time I notice a lack of staff sometimes is around 8pm+ GMT+12 (this is around midnight give or take a few hours for UK and america etc however)

 

He mentioned my name and a few other staff members names on IRC at 3AM last night, when I look now (6:50 AM when I get up for university) he then complains about the lack of staff participating...
Most of the staff are picked because they are older and more mature and can be trusted. Most of the time this means a lot of us have a job, bills to pay, a social life and other things we have to take care of. I for one choose not to come on at ridiculous times in the morning because I'm sleeping. I'm sure the other staff are too.

 

The staff are inactive when almost everyone else is inactive.
We sleep too.

 

And the person who posts the thread doesn't even offer explanation.

Lmao, mods sleep to and they have their lives, they are for more mature than most of us and have their bills to pay and their families to tend to, its not like this is a paid job, they are volunteering.

 

I am more than satisfied with the "customer service" of Sythe. I also believe that some of the officials choose to moderate the forums in hidden mode.

 

^, Definitely have seen some being hidden before, no problem with it especially if they're busy helping other people or the forums.

 

Site activity ebbs and flows due to Americans and other people in high-density areas going to sleep. Mods are no different, I'm the only mod on at 6 AM eastern U.S. time and that's because I've been up all night studying.

It would really help if we knew what your feedback was
