I agree with you.

There is very little work for the current staff team to do. The majority of Spam and Scam Reports, as well as disputes are handled within hours. Just because one staff member isn't rampaging through the forums like other moderators doesn't mean that they should be demoted and the position given to someone else.

 

Some people live on Sythe, some people pop on from time to time.

If the staff are meeting their quota, who is to say they should be demoted?

inactivity (or decreased) public side of the forums does not always translate to inactivity behind the scenes.

 

I'd be very sad to see pockets demoted.. He might not be very active but I couldn't imagine seeing him denying any kind of question or being flat out rude or hateful. He's a very nice & helpful person. I don't think that should just be forgotten due to a little bit of inactivity.

 

Meeting a quota isn't the only thing staff have to do, but the '' behind the scenes '' is a nonsense excuse, and i know pockets still deserves moderator.

 

It's not a nonsense excuse. I mean, they definitely should be doing public work as well, but behind the scenes there is a fair amount of work involved. Researching into specific incidents and cases, discussing how they can make the forum better/New Rules/Etc in the Staff Lounge (A lot of work goes in there guys.) That's just some of the things they get up to that you don't see.
