Pmod Info Thread! i need every detail!

Hello, everyone. In about 6 months i'm buying a pmod account through powerbot, I need to know EVERYTHING i can about p-mod account buying/selling

This includes:

• What precautions are neccessary?
• How do i handle this type of trade?
• Have you bought a p-mod account before?
• I need, in specific detail, a forum message template that i can use for the owner of the account to message on the rs-forums stating that they're moving
• is there anything i should do after the transaction to secure my newly purchased P-Mod account?
• How do i handle the email/password change?
• Should i do anything else after i own the account?
• Have you successfully bought and kept a p-mod account before?

 

the template for moving in a MUST. otherwise the account will instantly be locked.

thanks for your input. I'm buying it from an actual company so they will be able to do any precaution i give them. I just need to know the correct things i should be doing, and they will do it for me. I know posting the move change is completely necessary, but still isn't completely valid for securing the account completely! still looking for more info guys thanks!

 

pmod purchases are VERY rare, so i doubt anyone here on sythe has done a pmod trade.

Every pmod sale I've known has gone bad. Account gets locked/banned within a few days. It's a very very risky trade, again, I know of 0 success stories with this kind of trade

 

I've made one trade.



Everything went fine for a month or so, but the guy ended up recovering it several times to the point where the pmod status was simply removed. Didn't get my money back, so would be very cautious if I were you about trading with pmod accounts.

 

This is a type of trade that you would want to avoid at all cost as the risk is just too high and you have everything to lose.

 

Lol don't buy a pmod account. It'll easily get locked once they identify the IP change.

 

A friend of mine once bought a Pmod account. He paid like 150$ for it(300m back then).

He was able to log onto it for like 2 weeks, but it eventually got locked. He wasn't able to recover it and simply lost it.

 

What precautions are neccessary? He needs to post on the player mod away thread that he's moving. Needs to say where he's moving to but don't go too much into detail.
How do i handle this type of trade? Preferably - avoid it, if you lose the P Mod by all rights he doesn't have to refund you.
Have you bought a p-mod account before? Attempted - he cancelled the recoveries and changed the password for me and the P Mod status instantly disappeared. He got it back but I was too spooked after that to continue.

How do i handle the email/password change? Make him do everything from his original IP, even if it means temporarily giving him access to your e-mails.

The people they bought it from are the ones that recover. The actual companies just have shitty customer support and they don't care that it got recovered.

Don't buy from a company, buy from someone that's very trusted on sythe.

 

I tryed it once.. The account got banned, and I lost all my money.. They see the ip changed on the account..

 

Jagex will just see the IP change on the account and ban the account unless you were to inform them ahead of time that you were going to be moving. Then you maybe able to do it. I personally wouldn't risk it especially for the price you would have to pay for the account

 

Thanks for your input guys, no the company is not gold4fun, and we have plans well before the trade - once the named company gets the account, the company will hold it for 4 months to secure the account, after this i will be purchasing off them, and i cannot name the company because it's a special deal made between me and the company's manager - i will however say that they would NOT recover or scam literally they are 100% legit. I know the manager personally, but not irl. they handle up to trillions now

 

I'd be interested to know the name of such a legitimate company, for my own use would you PM it to me?

 

I would just flat out recommend to stay away from buying or selling of a P-Mod account. The risk is just way to high.

 

You already told us it was from PowerBot in your main post (FYI)

 

So despite all the advice you have received on Sythe and Powerbot, encouraging you to avoid purchasing the account, you're going to purchase it anyway?

 

the company i'm buying it from isn't powerbot, however and the website we are using to exchange feedback is powerbot. I am not going to give any details as they are planning on using their resources onto this p-mod account that i'm buying, and more people flooding them with questions about it would make it bad for them. They don't sell accounts as of yet - only gold. This was a special offer i made them and they accepted it.
