Please, How To Solve This Problem?

Okay, I'll start off with explaining my problem.

A week ago, I sold a 10HP 99 Magic Skiller, in total he should pay 70M, we agreed on this price.
But then he told me he could only get 45M, and would pay he other 25M in a week, I agreed.
We also agreed that if he not would pay me before this sunday, I would recover the account back, and once I got my 25M, I would give him the account back.
He told me now to worry, because He would most likely get it sooner.
Then, I believe yesterday I added him on RS, cause he wasn't responding elesewhere, and asked him for my 25M.
He told me he didn't know of anything, and that he just bought this account from someone on www.Sythe.org.
So I did some searching and found out that the guy I sold him to (Joshua123) has sold the account he bought from me.
I thought he got 50M.

So I gave him a PM that I knew he has the money, and he should pay me now.
I never got a response.

Now, my question;
We both agreed on another 25M today, and on the fact that I else would recover it.
But since a third party is involved, is it still okay to recover it?
The buyer from Joshua didn't know of this, I suspect this is a scam.

So, is it correct when I recover the account, knowing someone else got probably scammed then?

I don't think you would be allowed to recover it. The person that purchased it from you can only go up for scam and be banned for it. It wouldn't make sense if you were allowed to recover it, the third party loses out on everything then. That's my opinion though. Wait for a staff member to address this.

 

I thought exactly the same, I'll wait for a staff member to give his opinion.

But I'm not in any way responsible for the third party, as he wasn't involved in our trade.

I am not recovering the account to re-sell it, I do it so that I get my 25M.
Then I will give him the account.

 

submit a scam report. They will understand and i think youll have to refund the 3rd party while the person who hasnt paid you will be banned.

 

It isn't my fault at all that the third party got scammed, why would I have to refund him?
What happened to him is not caused by me, and I'm not responsible.

 

It's getting even worse, now the 3rd party tries to sell the account.

I think you should be allowed to Recover but then you would have to refund the 3rd party. I know you weren't responsible but at the end, you end up with the account and part in RSGP (45M - x amount that needs to be given for refund)... I doubt you'll go in the negative so its as if this whole ordeal never occurred. That's the best solution I find.

 

Actually I do, because ha apperently sold it for ~50M.

I know what you think it's only 5M but it isn't about the GP, it is about the fact that I should not be responsible for other persons actions.

 

Well then, the purchaser can only be banned for what he promised to give but never did, nothing else.

 

You can not recover your account if a third party is involved.
Report the guy that scammed you, with sufficient proof he will be banned.
