[College Members] Degree(s)?

Just wondering what people are majoring in in college and what they want to do with your new-found knowledge.


I am double majoring in History, emphasis on US History, and Political Science.

I want to become a History teacher until I make the transition into Politics.

 

I'm majoring in management. I don't have any specific plan on where I would want to work, but I seem to have a good handle on getting employees to do what I feel the employer wants, while being able to exercise my own judgement when necessary.

 

Business Administration - concentrating in Accounting

 

I'm done with college now and I'm now in university/work. I studied construction and civil engineering and then a further course in civil engineering. Now I'm studying civil engineering and math in university

 

Computer science. I want to get into music production though.

 

Did a social science course and will be pursuing a degree in criminal psychology at uni after summer

 

I'm studying Architecture.

 

Never bothered with degrees, as whats the point of getting buried in debt, and not being able to find a job, most of those majors are polluted with un-employed people, and up-an coming grads.


why i chose to be bluecollar, instead of white, went to a tech school to learn to weld, math, blue print reading, and some architect.

Make good money in the union, and don't have to worry about getting laid off, and not being able to find work.

i could pay to go to any school i wanted < assuming theyd take me> but that isn't an option for alot of people, yet they still go.


It took my cousin 10 years to pay off his student loans and ended up not even getting a job in his field of study, instead he owns a organic food/herb store now.

ironic to say the least.

 

I really wish America was more liberal so we could have nice things like this and universal healthcare.

 

Those people who end up unemployed major in things they can't find jobs for, like history or art or something else completely unmarketable.

 

I shall be moving to Scotland as of right now. No seriously though I'm in university for chemical engineering in Canada where education is not free

Biomedical Engineering at the moment

 

Finance

 

Software engineering

 

currently listed as biochemistry, but i plan on switching to either biology/finance

 

Major in English linguistics and minor in Media - Public relations

 

Graphic Design / US homeland Security / Computer Science.
