RSzerker Daily Rant [New] #1

Hello everyone, let me start off by saying I'm currently using my smartphone to so these threads, until I get my laptop. This is going to be a series of rants I'm going to be doing either daily or a few times a week. I hope to get better as I do it, so seeing as this is my first rant, it will probably not be the best. Please do not rage comments please. Give me helpful advice. I hope to become a well known, member of sythe, who can be respected by others, as I am going to respect all of you. Even on my darkest of days haha.

I'm going to do this rant today on the well known, evolution of combat!:
I personally am not liking this. The thought of dual weilding is cool. That's all I like. Taking away the spec bar, is like taking candy from a baby. The spec bar is what gives each weapon it's own uniqueness. With the new update, they are trying to simplify combat, but instead making it more confusing. I like doing switches, using my own personal skills and set up to kill another player. F5 must be my most used keyboard button haha. I like playing as a pure, but those are going to be gone pretty soon. Everyone is going to be the same, nothing to make them unique, or unexspected. prayer not raising combat is going to raise the price of all bones, because everyone will be getting turmoil, as it will not affect the account. Levels 3's with 95 prayer are going to be everywhere. Bots will take over dagonoths, more then they all ready do. the formula for combat is stupid. I have 45 defence. And 97 magic. That 97 mage is for brrage and veng. I dont even use vengeance. So now I'm going to be fighting high levels, with my low crappy stats because my magic level is high. I had magic level 97 since around level 60 combat. I had 20 defence. 2+20+97= 119. that would be my level. Now take a person with 20 defence and say 90 strength as there highest combat stat. 2+20+90=112. people who should be higher levels then me are now going to be lower levels. And there going to rape people like me, unfairly. This is all my personal opinion, and in no way means anyone else thinks this way. Doesn't mean it is this way. I may be wrong. I simply think Jagex is screwing up.

Please dont rage, feel free to have your own opinion on this subject. I realize I'm not the first to complain about this, but I figured I would start my rant on this. I will get better at my rants, and cover other topics in runescape that do not include the new combat. Thanks for reading. I hope you will continue reading further rants in the future. So let me get this right.
1.)Is this like a "grind my gears" segment from Family Guy? Or is this where you complain about things you don't like?
2.)I'm not sure people would come back the threads if you rant about things we all rant about.
3.)If you actually do continue to do this, make a "rant" on something not many people know(a lot) about. Shine some light onto subjects such as recent in-game updates/money making schemes (NOT SoF). People like drama and money making. Otherwise people like me really wont care to much since there are tons of other threads on the same thing we see daily.

You have to adapt. Once it comes to the live game, you will be forced to learn it/play it. I don't like it either, but looking forward to learning it.

 

Ok thanks. I do plan on getting better at it, everyone starts somewhere. Chris archie didnt make his first vid and become wildy popular. It takes time.

 

we have a designated thread for the eoc and beta http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1409244 use it to complain about the beta, we dont need to hear what pisses you off daily.. Thats called being a crybaby, its not a good look for anyone to constantly complain.

 

Well, I figured it would be entertaining. I am going to talk about more then EOC. Your being a hypokrit, sorry I don't know how to spell that.

 

This and the new armour update is the reason why i quit runescape.
