TBIS Scam - Repayment/claims process now open

    Hello all,

First of all I would like to preface this post with an apology. Having looked back at my original post about this investment, it's utterly embarrasing to see how blindly I bought into such a bullshit project, purely on the back of hype and the 'euphoria' of the crypto market at the time. That said, I'm not here to discuss it any further, I realise it was a dreadful investment and that I mindlessly shilled it very actively.

Now on to the true purpose of this post... The SEC obviously seized all assets of the company (TBIS) and appointed a receiver to oversee potential reimbursment to investors. Given that many assets have since been liquidated and that fees will need to be paid to lawyers, the receiver himself etc. I'm personally not expecting a great deal, if any, of my investment to be returned. Individuals can claim for tokens purchased both in the ICO, as well as any purchased later i.e. from a centralised or decentralised exchange. Anyone wanting to register their claim with the receiver then you can do so via the following steps:

    1) Visit http://tbis.io/ and press 'Submit claim'
(Note: You will need the email address, ETH address and details of number of tokens purchased at each stage to hand, as well as information regarding your tax status etc.)

    2) Note: For this stage you will need to use a wallet provider that supports the ROPSTEN test network (I personally utilised MetaMask). The ETH address used during the sale/for purchasing tokens will need to be validated. In order to do this, the receiver will send 1 test token (TBCT) to your address and you must return a certain amount of it (n<1) - the exact amount will be given to you in an email after filling in the initial claim form.
(To find the sending address/TX, you can use TESTNET Ropsten (ETH) Blockchain Explorer and use your ETH address to find the incoming transaction and therefore originating address)

    3) After a couple of days (at least in my case) you will receive email confirmation that your ETH address and claim has been validated. No further action is required at this point

The claims process closes at 11:59pm (Pacific time) on August 11th 2021, so make sure you've submitted your claim before then!

Hope this can help anyone at least a little. If you have any questions then feel free to post them below and I'll try my best to answer.

    Nate
