Anyone Know a good game recorder program?

I'm looking for a good game recorder program.

I want one with no lag, And one that can vid full screen games without making the game shut off also.

I was talking to a teammate last night and he said something about a Capture Card? I've never heard of it personally and he said they aren't sold anymore. Anyone know anything about it?

 

What? Fraps is proprietary anyway, and on a related note...

 

I use a gamebridge to capture games from a game console and put onto the computer. There's different kinds, But Mine cost like $80 I got for my b-day a couple months ago ha.

 

Gamebridge. Buy one off ebay for $20 dollars. Once you've done that, come back and talk to us, because it isn't going to work properly.

Works fine? My ass. The Gamebridge capture device is a buggy piece of crap.

Without some "additional" cords, the device can only play video on your desktop monitor. If you try recording without these "additional" cords then the video is lagged. It will skip around frequently and cause audio problems/glitches (not only this, but the video and audio will not be synchronized at all).

 

Without the additional cords can't you just save a certain length of time? or you NEED the cables to do any sort of recording? If so, how much do the cables cost?

 

Camtasia for the win, crystal clear everytime.

 

Depends where you buy them. I can certainly tell you they cost more at Circuit City or Radio Shack than what you can get at a small electronics store.

It's going to cost you an extra $20-$35 dollars.

You can't even record if you don't have those extra cords. Otherwise, you'll get shit video quality (it's not worth it because it is UNBEARABLE).

 

Use fraps or gamecam. I use to use both alot. The quality of fraps and gamecam are both pretty good. Fraps may lag a little bit depending on your computer and gamecam really doesn't at all.

 

I For one use Fraps, but Camtasia gold edition would work great, if you don't want to pay ask around for a code.
