Scammers have brought down account prices dramatically.

Anyone else agree? The prices of accounts are down significantly because of scammers. It's pretty sad when maxed pures/mains are going for 20M. 95% of those accounts end up getting recovered.

It really hurts business when you're trying to legitly sell an account. Everything compares it to other accounts, and calls it overpriced.

I guess I will continue to sell to gold4rs, as they seem to beat any Sythe offers by +75%.

They most likely will. All I know is that it hurts the legit sells majorly. I have full intentions to sell my accounts and let the buyer keep it. But most of the time I get laughed at for my price, even though gold4rs usually offers me $10 under what I ask.

 

I must agree, they go "Selling .5/m u go first" and everyone has to try and beat their .5/m.

 

i just sell my accounts for a fair price, if people decide to buy them 3x cheaper and end up getting scammed,it's their fault..you should think before you buy a level 138 account with 20 99's for 20M GP

 

Excatly, I just think many people are getting cleaned with the staking/dicing, getting lured, etc. So they just sell their account for any amount of GP to get something back, then recover it.

 

^ True that. Just because it doesn't have recovery questions or members or email doesn't mean it can't be recovered. The real owner can and WILL always find a way to recover it. You might buy an account from someone 'trusted' but the account is not necessarily safe unless they created it.. and even then still. I have always tend to stay away from buying accounts as I know the in's and out's of the recovery system.

Well thats only about buyers, first time buyers do not know how things work on sythe and buy account from first person who offer them lowest price. However older members prefer to buy from trusted sellers with long sale history and old join date, also they prefer mods,donators and so on. Probably 90% of accounts sold on sythe are automatically recorvered after trade ,especially these "cheap accounts" from leechers. Lets say: "Everything cheap is usually scam or comes with some problem". Even if you use MM and he did recorvery test ,there is still big chance that you loose your account, because original owner can easy win the "recorvery battle" ,because he has the IP adress which was used to login most times.

There's no 100% safe way of buying an account. Even a really trusted member can recover 3-4 years from now.

I was looking for how much a close to max ags goes for because i was about to sell one than i looked around and just dang :O people saying they selling for like 40m.... wtf
