Is there a recovery partition on the HD? Asus's usually have them, the newer ones anyway.

What OS are you using? That would help.

Also, if you want a clean slate, simply format the HDD and reinstall the OS.

    Factory Reset Laptop?

I got an Asus and when I want to factory reset it, I restart it and click on f9.

Try to restart it and click on f8 - f12 (before windows starts)
one of them will take you to the factory reset.

    Factory Reset Laptop?

There are partitions, but only very recent ones. They are also buggy.

I've tried, but they say my laptop isn't registered, even though I bought it legitimately at a store. Idiots haha.

    Windows 7 Home Premium.

As I said in og post, I don't have a recovery disk.

    Factory Reset Laptop?

Just an FYI, doing a factory reset won't really do anything if you have a big issue such as a keylogger / software issues.

Call Asus customer support and have them go through the re-installation of windows (I think it was f2 on startup, then like f9, something like that)

My Asus's been broken for like 8 months now and brought it to Best Buy, twice, and they couldn't fix it, and the Asus tech knew the problem in less than 5 minutes >_>
