The "Give me time to think" sucks heavily.
To be honest that usually means one of two things

1. She wants to say no, but doesn't want to lose you as a friend or doesn't want to hurt your feelings

2. She really can't decide if she likes you that much.

If your close close friends, makes it harder because she prolly wont want to because if the relationship ends badly your not gonna be friends anymore.

 

I guess all you can do is give her space and time to think. There isnt alot you can do, just let her think and dont hound her about it. If she does like someone else, it sucks, but dont let it eat you up, Try and stay close friends with her.

It would seam like you are already in the "friends" catergory, and once your there, you have no chance lol.
