Where did religion come from? What is the point of it? There's thousands of different religions scattered all over the world. How can the people that believe in that religion think that they're religion is 100% right. There's thousands of religions and only one is probably the correct one. Why do people feel so positive that their religion is right, when there's thousands out there. All of them could be incorrect.

 

For what I can answer:

The Bible is not just one book, but instead 66 books created by prophets of God. the Old Testament is before Jesus, New Testament God's new promise to the people and life of Jesus Christ. Some religions study old, some study new.

Some even believe in another book. Some believe in the Messiah has come, some believe he has no yet come.

You are wrong in saying that all people believe there religion is 100% right. I don't think that my religion is the "only" religion or it is 100% right.

I just believe in what it teaches. Religion teaches different things, and its why people choose to be a part of one over another based on their beliefs.

 

What your asking is pretty much ends up as what religion the person was born into and also there own personal beliefs. Your right they could be all incorrect, but then again they could be all correct. Its not like we have an answer. Its just that your faith, your beliefs and your customs all depend on you.

 

I think it was a way to explain things they didn't fully understand.

They're indoctrinated into that religion from birth, along with the generation before and so on.
