Graphics help?

I have been doing simple graphic design here and there.. all have looked just plain and simple I need help from some awesome graphic artists on here, I have seen some great work on here and I want to get to that point.. however I don't know how to get those awesome clear, bright fun results... I see people using some sorts of flares and everything.. I was curious were to find that as well (just on another note i am using Gimp) I own ps cs5 and c4d r10 but c4d gives me issues and Ps is too different for me to learn XD

 

Download graphics packs, generally these can be found on famous design channels on youtube or other places like deviantart. I've not sure about gimp but photoshop can be easy to use once you get your head around the basics. Post some stuff in graphics gallery if you want CnC. Good luck.

Just google graphics packs and you will get a bunch of results. Also if you go to some of the famous YT graphic artists they usually have packs they give out after they reach so many subscribers.

 

Emperor_nero you just said what jack said... thanks though but i was looking for specific links that i know are good instead of getting some random pack full of crap i didn't need XD

 

All packs are different, you have to collect them up. I have around 20 - 30 gigs of resources. It's hard to recommend packs when we don't really know what you're going to do with them. They're packs for tag work, they're packs for YT interfaces, they're packs for photo manip, they're C4D packs. It all depends on what you need them for. So enlighten us on that and then we might be able to give a suggestion or two. The channels that had some good packs that I like are CallMeRatedX and EvanEckard. Evan doesn't have any packs but he has some awesome tutorials on doing work with photoshop tools.

 

Its in how much you practice really. Just keep practicing and experimenting.
