I'm an absolute noob at LoL (Pretty new, level 15 I think), but I'd be interested if it'll be fun

I'm on EUW

As for the tournament, not that keen on a 1v1... ARAM is always fun though

 

It's fine. You can learn from the tournament! Or if you're actually looking for help, plenty of people will help out. I would, but I'm on NA.

Would prefer a 1v1 Tournament.

Not having much faith in teams lately.

 

I would be in (OCE) Level 15, Any range of levels? like we can have like (OCE) Matches aswell XD

I understand that, you can build your own team, or can have one made here on Sythe. We may bring it to 2v2's or 3v3's. Something like that. I'm not quite sure yet, there's still a lot of variables I need to take into account, and how exactly I'm going to host this, this is just for advice from the community.

We need to have enough interest from each server, or at least an even number of people. Sadly, I can't control levels, so really, some people will just have an advantage over others.. That's a problem with this. But lower levels and skill-levels will learn from this.

 

Im up for it just PM me with your info and ill add you in Client or however you want to get the roster going. I already have a 5 man team ready.

 

Well, I'm on EUW, but I can play on NA too. Would prefer team based games, although 1v1s are also fun

 

This thread is just for seeing who would be interested, and in what mode(s) they would like to play in. The tournament thread will be made in a week or so.

EUW and NA are probably going to be the servers we'll be doing it one, unless more people come out with other servers. Most likely we'll be doing 5v5's, we'll see though.

 

1v1 would be best imo.

I don't like 1 v 1 so I wouldn't do it... it would be nice to get together and ARAM though -nudge, nudge- for fun =].

Issue with 1v1 tournaments is that matchmaking is going to be unfair. We'll end up with people in bronze matched against people in challenger if they decide to join.

Teams would be the best way to balance.

Why not make it 3v3 ARAM? Or Catch the Teemo?

 

Right, so you would have lanes with Challenger vs Bronze, so an entire team gets screwed over. That seems more fair.

 

The problem is as stated, I wouldn't know how to match people up. Some people who are wanting in are under level 20 (Newer to the game) When we have plenty of plat/diamond and so on who will be interested.

ARAM is just very much based on luck, which is the worst part. But, if you're a good enough League player, you should be able to use who you get. It's still a possibility.

Will keep that in mind, glad you're showing interest.

Just make sure you guys post the form when I make the actual tournament.

Only problem is, we couldn't build many teams here on Sythe, teams would need to be made by the participants. I won't have a 4-teamed tournament. I want a good amount of activity for it, even though I know I won't get what I would like.

Catch The Teemo/Shaco can't really be made into a tournament. It's just for fun, and doesn't really work too well. ARAM has it's problem, as stated above.

There's problems for most things, I jusst gotta figure out ways to work on them all. Sorry for not being able to tell you guys straight up what we're wanting to do.

This can't be helped, even if I made it for say Bronze only players, we'd have smurfs and such coming in. I'm not sure what I could do about that in any way.

 

Well as long as it's a team-based thing and if I have my Internet up and running by then (might not =p) then I'm down for it! It'll just be for fun for me though... if we win, great. If not, oh well =p.

 

I want to set up taking teams/contestants next week. Then, when enough interest is shown, set a date.
