Personal Landing Page

I'm looking for services that will allow me to easily craft a personal website for free or fairly cheap annually (<$50 preferably). The number of services out there is, for a beginner, a little overwhelming. They all seem to offer different perks, and I'm not even sure where to begin. Does anyone have experience with any of these services? If so, please let me know which ones you would recommend.

If you're not sure what I'm talking about, I'm referring to services like Flavors.me, Squarespace, Wix, etc.

If it helps, I will be using the website just as a central hub. It will list information about me as well as how to get in touch with me. Basic stuff like that.

 

Wordpress is great, free software that you could upload to a free webhost

 

Thanks Kiln! After doing a lot of research, I've decided Wordpress is the way to go. I'm going with the .com approach instead of the self hosted method for now. This is my first website, and I would rather let them handle all the more technical stuff for now.
