    RsBotVps - My Experience

hello lads, this is my review of RsBotVps:

    Score: 2/10

    1.) Customer Support:

This site claimed to have amazing support you cant find anywhere else, this highly interested me, which affected my decision to use them, however it seemed, sometimes they would take 10 minutes to respond, sometimes 5 hours, heck sometimes they NEVER responded at all.

When i was having issues connecting to the VPS as im on Mac rather than Windows, they were absolutely useless at helping me, telling me things which were the opposite to what i had to do to finally connect. in the end i had better luck from a guy on Sythe who solved the situation for me :)

2.) "Free Setup, Ready for Botting"

My fucking arse, yes the VPS came with the Botclient folder on the desktop ready, but when i loaded up the client, its loading the runescape screen, but just before it hits the runescape login screen, it suddenly closes and creates a error log file in the botclient folder. i read it, seems like its due to java.

I have no knowledge of Linux, i am a Windows/Mac user, the main reason i chose RsBotVps was because it was claimed to be already setup ready for botting! this was music to my ears as i dont know what im doing with Linux, however this wasnt the case unfortunately, couldnt even make it to the login screen before hitting a fatal error. i tried downloading linux java off java.com and installing but it didnt solve the issue.

I thought hmm i reinstalled java, maybe i need to reboot my VPS then it'll work, *reboots vps* now i cant even connect to it via ssh on Terminal or vnc viewer, "Operation timed Out". looks like another support ticket on the way.

3.) Purchase date vs VPS receive date:

Purchased the VPS on the 24th, so the billing cycle started on the 24th, stating my next payment was required on december 24th. however i never actually received the VPS until the 27th, not the biggest issue in the world, but that is abit of a piss take, they even stated if they take longer than 2 days they generally adjust the start date, they didnt.

    4.) Summary:

So now i am stuck with a VPS that cant do what it states (botting), $29.50 out of pocket, and no replies from their support team on their website, overall experience: absolutely shit. i would highly recommend not to use this site.

Thanks for the review. To think, I was about to purchase their service. It seems like they've reeled in a lot of fish :( for a hefty price too.
So wait. You've had it for four days now?

I have used rsbotvps in the past and my experiences have been pretty good. I only stopped using them as I have no use for a VPS anymore.

So you received your VPS yesterday and wrote a review early this morning? Hmm, maybe you should try using the VPS for more than 5 minutes.

Java crashing happens on all vps's that I know of, since the graphic update. All you had to do was to press "s" while rs loads to enter SAFE MODE rather than software, direct x etc which wont work on vps. Had to figure that out myself since my vps provider didn't know what went wrong eithier.

I fucked up my vps when I tried to fix it, but the provider rebooted and fixed it, and then i tried with "s" and it worked. I had the exact same java error in my bot client folder.

    Abit hard to when:

1.) cant bot, client closes while loading runescape screen
2.) i reboot VPS, and now i cant even connect to it, "Operation Timed Out" and no one on the website seems to have any intention of replying to my support tickets.
3.) would of had more time using it if you didnt take 3 days to give it to me.

So yeah paying for a VPS i dont even have access to now, even when i did, wasnt setup ready for botting as stated. nice service mate.
