Recovered account but not working? WTF

Please if anyone can help me out here?


I have recovered an account that i hadn't played ages with, it had set recoveries and i remembered them and this morning i got this email.



But when i click the link on the email i get this :



I try to put in my email address and i get this :



And when i try to go to recovery page again it says email address is not recognized, like wtf is going on please help

 

It may have expired, try again.

But first check the sender email, make sure it's not a phish.

Edit: a.runescape.com?

 

Looks like the recovery hasn't fully worked yet or you are attempting to recover an account you sold. Hopefully it was the first one!

Mate you've been phished, please read the sender. Normally the sender wouldn't be so silly to make it that easy to read but that's not the real email lol

 

If the email contains your RSN then its not a phish... Unless you publicly posted somewhere the account you're trying to recover along with the email address

At first reading through , I thought that it was a phish.... However, happy your account started working...

Lesson for the future though ... Do be careful with emails.
