Login username of the account: used to be [removed login at this time] (see pic) no clue what it is now as the account has been turned into a jagex account. I do track the IGN still, could provide if needed.
Terms of Service that was agreed to: none, we didn't make any. Baod can confirm this, as its also been said in our conversation.
Other relevant trade screenshots: nothing really. I have downloaded our full discord conversation, from start till now. I wont post it here but i'm happy to provide it to a mod if needed (about 1900 messages). The bank value went over 7b but I have no proof/pictures of that sadly. A picture I do have is around 6,3.

I bought an 5,27b bank Iron man with a 2196 ttl at 14/02/2023 (also shown in our conversation). However after a few months of playing, it got recovered whilst I was traveling trough Mexico (06/05/2023), in the middle of my holiday. I informed Baod straight away when I noticed it, I believe when I was about to do an herb run trough phone or something. I've had two password requests in my email, which you get at every recovery attempt I believe and I still have those emails. We found out that the account has been turned into a Jagex account, because we couldn't find the username no more to try an recover. He tried many different ways to get the account back, but hasn't been able to return the account until this day, which is very odd. As he claims he never shared any recovery info (not even with me) and is the creator of the account and such, which is all confirmed in our conversation multiple times. He says he has nothing to do with it which makes it hard for me to make a report or call him a scammer or whatever, but we/he isn't able to get it back either. At first I tought that the Jagex account transfer thingy caused it, but i've heard from many people this makes no sense as they still can be recovered easily so i'd like to hear what you guys have to say about this situation and come to an solution.
Baod and I have always kept contact nicely from the moment it happened so I bet he will confirm my story here, and i've also informed him about me creating a thread here. Sorry for the report bud but its been months now and as i've told you I just wanna get over it.

Hello Tom, i respect this report as we are both at a dead end with this after trying for months & Not knowing what options to come up with.

I can confirm with the above regarding the account i sold Tom. 2/3 months after i had sold it to him he had reported to me that it had been " Hacked / Recovered ". I sold the account with around 5.2 / 5.3b and i was speaking to tom after sale where i got to know it got up to at least 6.2b quite quickly.
There was no Tos set in place privately other then whats stated on sythe, i never tend to make individual tos as i expect no issues.

I obviously was shocked. My main concern was to recover the account as soon as possible while i knew it had a bank pin and a high value bank.
I instantly made a recovery attempt from my new current address that i moved to 2 years ago or so.
The first one i did not get a reply within 24 hours so i thought that was good news since it was not auto denied so must have been looked into manually. After a while it got denied with the message the information was not complete enough.
I didn't hear from Jagex for a few days so i went back to my old house where my parents still live and put in a another recovery. That took another day or so to reply, then got denied, And so on..

Because the delays in hearing back from the appeals i put in, i then went onto post onto reddit explaining my situation.
( My high level iron's been stolen / 5b + & although i Bank at risk with the bank pin going to expire in X amount of time ect ect )

That soon got removed - unknown as to why, No sensitive info was posted.
I then went onto trying to get help via the official discord ( under a different name of course ) & pretty much had no help or care there, felt like i was talking to robots.

I couldn't say in the years of trading I've never been in the situation of recovering an account for anybody that i sold to.
I've always created my accounts with the really short easy logins as you mods can see from tom's hidden info with the belief its more secure for the customer & made harder to recover for me as such and for hackers to find out what the login would be.

I have only moved around 3/4 miles & entered all the info that is known to me in so i wouldn't of thought that would be an issue to cause a denied reply. Although again im not 100% Sure of the original creation date to the precise month, I'm fairly confident i know the first password, but again cant be 100% sure it was created 100's of accounts + years ago. I don't keep record of that kind of info on accounts i create to sell as a security matter on my end.

I have sold many 2k+ total irons and 100's of other types of accounts over the years without any issues like this. Ofcourse my end goal would be to get this account back in his hands but it seems like something on Jagex their part is holding this back.

Then again there's also the question if this all is faked. I know that i did not recover the account and with all the phishing, email leaks/hacks and jagex accounts security i cant for sure say this is a legit hack in my defense.
Like stated to earlier and to Tom. I moved houses, i tell my buyers that original info is not something i keep so they would know this when they go ahead with the purchase.


Me / Tom are not on bad terms & are happy to discuss options / thoughts
As im sure tom would prefer the account back over anything that i could offer him if its deemed safe as it should be.
Im not here to rip customers off, im here to make them happy, So lets figure it out once and for all, its a big stress over both of our heads that we both want gone. We've briefly spoke about options, but unsure what to do.
But ive tried everything i can to recover it with no luck so i dont know the next step from here?

I can confirm his message, as he says, he/we have tried many options like the OSRS Discord, Twitter & Reddit with a couple of recovery attemps which unfortunately didn't work for as far as I know of. I dont know what else to do really, like is there anything else he could possibly try?

As he says, I do prefer getting the account back over anything else, that is very correct. As I loved playing it, was close to maxing with everything banked that it needed still. Gained a few pets, big items like almost completing PNM/Prepped tons of brews and restores to finish Nex/HMT kits & ToB items and so on. But I guess we do not see that happening.. and as i've said to Baod aswel, its the thing I want the most, but if that's not happening i'm not gonna let this pass and flush my money down the drain.. We have come to a dead end I believe and we have ran out of options, or some fucking miracle has to happen lol.

I dont know what else to say tbh as I find this really hard and a tough situation.

@Kanye that is correct indeed. I died before I had to head to the airport as I went on holiday and didn't take the items back as we had to catch our flight lol. I did some quick maths and it should add up around 430m to the bank. Calculated with the prices as they are today.

 

Im not here to argue about it, i just expected some advice / help in getting it back, Or as to why i cant for future reasons - Surely thats a good thing anyway in most cases. When you have high end sythe staff even being corrupt in the account market section, How does that give any customer confidence with any Tos. No matter what they are. With or without years of warranty.

The problem is if my Tos are somehow invalid then whats the safety for us as providers? Whats stopping 100's of customers now making reports who no longer play there accounts, and simply want some money back ?
You tell me i have no Tos, I do have listed on my account section post, i have tos for a reason, because i dont hold account information, Not because i dont want to help customers recover accounts, its for there own safety imo. But wheres our protection if that isn't valid?

The thing is, on the internet you'd like to think you can tell if customers are trying there luck ect,
Who's genuine, who's not, As providers we always have to watch out for potential customers claiming bank scams,Hacks,Fake botting claims ect,

On the internet you have to work people out and build trust, Its the same for discords staff, You have to learn to trust them, even if they have the highest of deposit, there is possibility's to" Steal/ Scam " More if they wanted.

Me & Tom have talked so much over the months and quite honestly learnt alot about ea other, Imo he simply has nothing to hide & To me Seems genuine enough to work within my discord let alone make false claims, We both seem to come from fairly wealthy backgrounds ( From what ive learnt about him ) There should be no reason for either of us to lie for abit of profit. I cant be sure, but if the account is still being played, we assume it has the bank ( for it to be finished maxed it must of had ) Why would i recover the account & max it if i cannot resell it, because the login will be black listed, in the instance of me stealing the account, with a 7b bank, That would hold more value in gim items alone, then what he paid for the account, So why would i max it to be stuck, and not just sell the GP? It dont make sense.

So how do you split up the honest one's to the dishonest?
I Know there is ALOT more dishonest people compare to the amount of honest.

At the end of the day, this is my first ever account issue report, so its not a regular thing and on the rare chance i cant fix it, Im willing to help tom and take a loss on my behalf.

I feel like If this " Being held liable for 2 year If you dont mention your not liable " Then Alot of people could potentially try make a report, let me make it clear. Im 110% confident i haven't recovered it, so if Any others see this and think its a easy claim, dont expect me to jump and instantly refund you, because that wont be happening, You'd have alot of explaining and back and forth before id consider offering a solution.

There is one thing ive never deleted, and that is google search history, Surely that would provide proof of the 100's of accounts i PERSONALLY, have created, In this case of tom's account being so many years old im unsure. As within the year of becoming a service provider, i upgraded computers from earnings, so i dont know if that will backdate to the very start,


Because i mention we made no private individual tos - As i never do because i have my ones listed on sythe as requested by staff. Neither do i have that " By opening a ticket you agree to my tos " thats not the case, but if your looking over my sythe thread, you see my tos clearly. its not hidden.

I dont believe this report was made because tom felt i wasn't willing to help, i believe its to get us both some advice mainly in recovering the account, Although i have asked multiple users, including on sythe discord's some good/bad advice that hasn't helped so far, If nobody is able advice with that side of it, Then me & Tom will work out something he's happy with between us to solve this, I have nothing to hide & there is no further risk to anyone else in terms of accounts,services,gold ect.

Im just interested to know How i protect myself / Accounts going forward from here, Yes Tos helps if you want to shrug it off and not help customers, but im not looking to shrug it off, i want to create accounts that are safe for them & For me, in cases of this so i can recover for them. If anyone has had issues like this with accounts & You know any tips/tricks to get the account back. Im happy to take pm'd advice if anyone has any that they dont want to leak here on about recovering accounts. Ofcourse you'd be paid if your support pays off & Leads to tom getting his account back.

 

Understandable, So im not overly sure what the need is to have a Tos listed on your account section then?
Unless it has changed so that you dont need them listed?

Thats fine though, As i said to tom a good way back before we even thought about a report was if i couldn't get it back for him, i wouldn't let him go at a out of pocket either way, As i mentioned he seems very genuine ( Rare to come across )

As I find it hard myself to take decisions here I would like to let the staff here decide whatever seems right to do now if that’s okay. Or to let baod make a proposition, I don’t really know how this usually works/goes

What does that mean? Depends who it is to determined if whats acceptable or not?

98% of sythe users wouldn't even think of paying such a large sum back for something that is arguably not there fault
I haven't been on a scamming spree or reclaiming accounts, i simply created some old accounts in a previous location & Don't even track the info to them when creating, That is putting customer safety before mine by the looks of it if i cant even recover them.


i dont know what exact payment will be made on what date, i have told tom it will be paid within 3 months though. Although i plan for it to be quicker, depending on financial situations. Tom is happy with that, That's the main thing.

i got notified about this report 1/2 days ago, if your that " Guest " & this is not bs, Do make a report with valid proof, Its a big claim to make with out backing it up. im interested to hear more about them claims.
Im struggling to see how he's come up with a mastermind to scam me though, Nothing really makes sense in that report,He'd be laughing in my face, Not yours lol. but im interested to hear more if there's proof

 

@Kanye yeah I informed Baod about it and he told me he would take care of it.

I am indeed good with it being done within 3 months, but i'll leave the exact timeframe/payments thing up to him.

@Baod and regarding the "Exposing a scammer", i'd love to hear whatever that is about too, as i've never had any "partner" related to this game nor have I ever "chose it over anyone" xD. So to whoever made that Thread, feel free to share your love story with us ^^ very low IQ
