Peanut420_69 Declines decrease of deposit while his ToS has no mention of it

Which violation you are reporting the user for: Person won't allow me to decrease my deposit amount when his ToS has no mention of it not being allowed.

Why you think they're violating Sythe rules: He's actively denying me a decrease of my deposit because he says it's in the ToS while it isn't.

I have been his worker since July 20th 2022, 11 days to be exact. In this timespan I have had 2 small jobs paying me 29.18m and 40m, 69.18m total which would sell for $20.75 USD with a rate of 0.3$/m. His calculator bot was down for a significant time too resulting in even less jobs. There hasn't been enough work for him to provide me to which I had to ask permission to find a job alongside this one which he agreed to. Following his ToS this wasn't allowed. I have deposited 400m with him which is too much for the amount of work I get so I asked him whether he can refund 200 out of the 400m total. I initially asked for 300 but found out through his manager that new workers have a minimum of 200m to deposit. He declined this and told me I should already be happy with him giving me permission to expand my work. I have read his ToS but it has no mention that this isn't allowed, I pointed that out to him and he told me to make a report here. After I talked to other service providers they suggested that it is worth a try because I'm scared that Peanut69_420 is aiming to take my deposit when I don't abide by his rules with how his ToS is set-up (see rule 1 of his ToS).

I've checked with other service providers if this is a norm to which it isn't, even his own manager is telling me that my deposit is too high and that Peanut69_420 is known for being cheap about stuff like this.

In my honest opinion I feel like workers are missing a good set of worker privilege rules and the way Peanut69_420 has set-up his ToS is unfair for the amount of work that I'm receiving. I have honestly tried to talk it out with him to which he became very passive aggressive and threatening so that's why I'm here. I have told him I'm poor IRL and make some cash here and there and that I can't afford another deposit, but he ignored this, this further proves the statement made by his manager that he's cheap.

I want to make a statement as to why I think he wants me to make a report here so badly, and that is because he has set-up his ToS to be a safe-haven for things like this and let's the Sythe staff deal with the issue at hand. I won't be talked down to as a sub-human because I "work" for someone.



Okami opened a chat within his Discord server as a last attempt to talk things out. You can read below how that went.

I tried to talk some sense into the situation with him in DM's which he ignored as well.



Would you want to work for such a person? I believe not. Okami mentions that I should have done more research about the work that they're getting beforehand but agrees that my deposit is too much.

I don't feel like this is going anywhere so I would want to come to an agreement with not continuing my work there and find it somewhere else, but I want the 400m I deposited there with it.

 

How long is the response timer on this?

 

They're waiting for staff to reply until they're going to say anything. Well, more specifically, Peanut69_420 isn't even taking responsibility anymore and lets his manager take on the issue until the staff here comes out with a verdict.

His ToS mentions that Only after 3 months your deposit is refundable if nothing from the tos has been broken.

Since he gave me written permission to work for other service providers he technically breaks his own ToS (line 4 of ToS) making me eligible for a refund of the deposit.

 

I agreed to the ToS, but his ToS doesn't mention a decrease is not allowed. I don't really see what else the report would be for.

This is exactly what I mean with missing worker privilege rules. There are a bunch of rules for workers, but not for work providers.

The fact that he can rely on you guys and I have nobody to go to in this situation isn't right. He doesn't reply for days, there are barely any jobs, doesn't take care of his workers, yet get the upper hand in petty situations like this. I've tried to handle it directly with him too many times before making a stupid report here. I don't want to waste anyone's time here, I want to work, but not for someone that treats others like this, why is there no mention of his behavior?
