so jagex thinks they can sue

lol how do they think that they can sue for bots. its not against a law just against rules there are no legal acts stating that they can sue. correct me if im wrong any opinions?

Civil cases are different from criminal cases. They probably want to sue on the basis of damage to the game from deliberate violation of the terms of service, but I'm not sure.

 

i was doing some reading and from what i understand the only way they can sue is if it is proven that the bots were used for gold farming. with no proof of goldfarming and making real life profit i dont think its possible for them to sue.

I think their could sue because somewhere in their terms & conditions it say something about bots. But then again their will need proof that the bot is doing what you say.
