Price check: 138CB 12 99s 5/6 chaotics + Some help

Hey,

Just wondering how much I'd get for my RS account. It has 12 99s; 5 out of 6 chaotic weapons and shields; all major quests done (Nomad's requiem, RoTM, + all the old hard ones) and a fire cape.

There's no tradeable items in the bank, only untradeables.

Any ideas?


Also, I'm new to these forums (hence my post count) and could use some help with selling my account. I've looked around these forums but I'd like if you guys could clear up some of these issues:

- How often do you get scammed?
- Are all middlemen completely trustworthy?
- What's the best way to go about trading? Ideally I'd prefer it to be as simple as me giving the middleman my account password + recoveries (Do I have to delete my recoveries to trade my account?) whilst the buyer of my account gives the middleman his money. Then the middleman takes his cut of both ends and gives me the money and the buyer the password. Is this the way it's done? Or can transactions even go as simple as that?
- Would it take me long to sell me account? I won't be holding out for weeks upon weeks because I need the cash now, but don't want to be giving it away.

Sadly, there are going to be people out there trying to scam you. You should be vigilant and take the necessary precautions to ensure you don't get scammed. I know it can be a hassle, but you have to take some time to read some of the helpful guides around here.

- Are all middlemen completely trustworthy?
Most of them are, but there are two types of Middlemen: Official Middlemen and just your regular Middlemen.
Official Middlemen are of course the safest and most trusted type and, as a result, they're more expensive than a regular Middleman. However, I'd highly recommend using an Official Middleman for any trade of great value. It's a lot better for both sides if you safely get your money and they get a little their way, as opposed to the worst happening.

- What's the best way to go about trading? That seems about correct, but I'm in the midst of preparing to sell my account as you are. We'll both have to do more research on that one.

Unfortunately, account sales take a bit more time and effort than GP sales, but it shouldn't take that long if you're willing to sacrifice potentially more money for a quicker sale.

Unfortunately the majority of the people on this forum are trying to scam. However, it are mostly the sellers that scam. Simply because they can recover the account. This is also the reason why people are giving low offers, especially if you are new.

You should remove your recovery questions before trying to sell it, it will give you much better offers. Always use a OMM for 100m+ trades. It can take a long time before you will ve able to sell it. A good price for mains is around 25% of the value of the buyables.

You can expect around 300m for 12 99s

 

Thanks for the reply JJ. It has got 99 herb/summ/prayer amongst other. I'd be looking for real life cash rather than rs cash, I should've said so. any idea how much I could get for it? Thanks again.
